Khalsa College Mohali Celebrates Parents' Worship Day with Enthusiasm

S.A.S.Nagar 14 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Harish Kumari, students of Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology and Business Studies, Phase 3A, Mohali, joyfully celebrated Parents' Worship Day. This special occasion was dedicated to honoring and expressing gratitude to parents. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a melodious hymn sung by the students. A special highlight of the event was a ramp walk featuring students alongside their parents, which added to the excitement of the celebration. Students also expressed their emotions through a mime performance, which deeply moved the audience. To showcase their creativity and talents, students participated in various competitions such as poster making, dance, singing, and poetry recitation. Additionally, an emotional and inspirational short film was screened for the students. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Harish Kumari emphasized that parents are the first teachers in a child’s life, and their values shape individuals into responsible and cultured citizens. She stated that celebrating Parents' Worship Day aims to instill respect and gratitude towards parents in students. She further highlighted that love and dedication towards parents should not be limited to just one day but should be a lifelong commitment. The emotional connection reflected in the students’ performances was commendable. The college remains committed to fostering positive change in society through such initiatives. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the winners of various competitions.
