Chandigarh Masters dominate at All India Masters Badminton Ranking Tournament, Agra Chandigarh 30 January ( Ranjeet Dhaliwal ) : Chandigarh Veterans put up an outstanding display of Badminton at the All India Masters Badminton Ranking Tournament being held at Agra from 25th Jan to 1st Feb, bringing pride and recognition to the city with an impressive medal tally. The Chandigarh contingent representing in age group of 35+, 40+,45+ and 50+ secured a total of 10 medals, including 4 Gold, 5 Silver, and 1 Bronze, showcasing their dedication, discipline, and sporting excellence at the national level. Badminton tournament was inaugurated by sporting icon Ms Saina Nehwal on 25th January. Around 700 entries came in this event across India. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਐਥਲੈਟਿਕ ਮੀਟ 2025–26 ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਸੀਈ–20 ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 25 ਦਸੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਗਵਰਨਮੈਂਟ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ਼ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਸੈਕਟਰ 20-ਡੀ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਨੇ 77ਵੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਐਥਲੈਟਿਕ ਮੀਟ 2025–26 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 22 ਤੋਂ 24 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2025 ਤੱਕ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਕਾਮਪਲੈਕਸ, ਸੈਕਟਰ 7, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ 20 ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ (11 ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ 9 ਮਹਿਲਾ) ਨੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਟਰੈਕ ਅਤੇ ਫੀਲਡ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਤਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਕੁੱਲ 19 ਤਮਗੇ ਜਿੱਤੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 6 ਸੋਨੇ, 5 ਚਾਂਦੀ ਅਤੇ 8 ਕਾਂਸੀ ਦੇ ਤਮਗੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਪਲ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੰਦਨਾ ਏਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਰਗ (ਸੀ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ) ਦੀ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਖਿਡਾਰਣ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਗਵਰਨਮੈਂਟ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ਼ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਸੈਕਟਰ 20-ਡੀ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਰਗ (ਸੀ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ) ਵਿੱਚ ਓਵਰਆਲ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਟ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤੀ। ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਲਬਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ, ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਸਹਿ-ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਰਾਹਣਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਉਤਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ...
