Zonal NRI Milni an Eyewash for Punjabi Diaspora, Says NAPA Executive Director Satnam Singh Chahal Chandigarh 27 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A zonal meeting organised to address the issues and concerns of the NRI community has proved to be little more than an eyewash and has failed to provide meaningful relief to members of the Punjabi diaspora, particularly those who travel long distances with genuine grievances and return home empty-handed. ਮਿਸੀਸਾਗਾ ਦੀ ਮੇਅਰ ਚੋਣ ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਮਰਥਨ : ਅਜੈਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੱਠਾ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੈਰਲਿਨ ਪੈਰਿਸ਼ ਸਾਡੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਮੇਅਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ : ਸਰਦੂਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਥਿਆੜਾ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ/ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 8 ਅਗਸਤ (ਹਰਦੇਵ ਚੌਹਾਨ/ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ) : ਮਿਸੀਸਾਗਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਮੇਅਰ ਕੈਰਲਿਨ ਪੈਰਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੀ ਰੈਲੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 300 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹਮਦਰਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, ਭਾਰਤੀ, ਮੁਸਲਿਮ, ਚੀਨੀ, ਗੋਰੇ, ਫਿਲਪੀਨੋ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਅਰ ਕੈਰਲਿਨ ਪੈਰਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮਿਸੀਸਾਗਾ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਮੇਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਉਂਸਲਰ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹੇ।  ਜਗਤ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਜੈਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੱਠਾ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਰਦੂਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਥਿਆੜਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਕੰਦ, ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਿਨਹਾਸ, ਸਰਵਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਿੱਦੜ, ਕਰਨਲ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਧੇਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਠ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਪਤਵੰਤੇ ਸੱਜਣ ਇਸ ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਕੈਰਲਿਨ ਪੈਰਿਸ਼ ਸਾਡੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਮੇਅਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਸ...
