Rajya Sabha MP Padmashri Rajinder Gupta Meets Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Delhi 5 December ( PDL ) : Padmashri Rajinder Gupta, Rajya Sabha MP, met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in the capital today. The meeting is being viewed as significant in the backdrop of current security concerns in Punjab. During the high-level interaction, both leaders discussed the security challenges in Punjab and the strengthening role of the armed forces. Gupta underlined that Punjab’s geographical location makes it highly sensitive from a national security perspective.
