ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ 1 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ (ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਜੀਐਸਟੀ ਬੱਚਤ ਉਤਸਵ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਚਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਲ ਟੈਕਸਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਛੋਟ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਈਵੇ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ (ਐਨਐਚਏਆਈ) ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਲ ਦਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਧਣ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। 29 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਥਿਤ ਐਨਐਚਏਆਈ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਅਧੀਨ ਟੋਲ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਟੋਲ ਦਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 2004-05 ਦੀ ਦਰ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ 2011-12 ਦੀ ਦਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਦਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਐਨਐਚਏਆਈ ਅਗਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਦਰਾਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੋਲ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ 1 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਤੋਂ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਟੋਲ ਦਰਾਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, 2004-05 ਦੀ ਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਸ ਰੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਵਰਤਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸਾਲ, ਟੋਲ ਦਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ 5 ਤੋਂ 7 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਐਨਐਚਏਆਈ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ 2004-05 ਦੀ ਦਰ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ 2011-12 ਦੀ ਦਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਦਰ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਟੋਲ ਦਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਰੱਖੇ। NHAI ਦੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ‘ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ 2004-05 ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿੰਕਿੰਗ ਫੈਕਟਰ 1.641 ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ 2011-12 ...

In a representation, the association noted that only 3.35 crore returns had been filed by August 20, compared with 7.41 crore by July 31 last year, reflecting a shortfall of nearly 55 per cent with just weeks left for the September 15 deadline. The delay, it said, stemmed from the late release of ITR and audit utilities, persistent glitches on the tax portal, new reporting formats mandated by ICAI, and severe monsoon disruptions across several states. ਸੀਏ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਆਈਟੀਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਡਿਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਰੀਖਾਂ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 27 ਅਗਸਤ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਚਾਰਟਡ ਅਕਾਉਂਟੈਂਟਸ ਟੈਕਸੇਸ਼ਨ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ (ਸੀਸੀਏਟੈਕਸ) ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਕਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਮਦਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਟਰਨ (ਆਈਟੀਆਰ) ਅਤੇ ਆਡਿਟ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਿਆਦਾਂ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣ। ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਟੈਕਸਪੇਅਰਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਤੇ ਫਾਈਲਿੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 20 ਅਗਸਤ ਤੱਕ ਕੇਵਲ 3.35 ਕਰੋੜ ਰਿਟਰਨ ਹੀ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ 31 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਗਿਣਤੀ 7.41 ਕਰੋੜ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਗਭਗ 55 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ 15 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਦੀ ਡੈਡਲਾਈਨ ਹੁਣ ਬਹੁਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ। ਦੇਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਈਟੀਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਡਿਟ ਯੂਟਿਲਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਦੇਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੋਣਾ, ਇਨਕਮ ਟੈਕਸ ਪੋਰਟਲ ‘ਤੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਖਾਮੀਆਂ, ਆਈਸੀਆਏਆਈ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਿੰਗ ਫਾਰਮੈਟ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੀਸੀਏਟੈਕਸ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਾਨ-ਆਡਿਟ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ 31 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੱਕ, ਟੈਕਸ ਆਡਿਟ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ 30 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ, ਆਡਿਟ ਕੇਸ 31 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਂ ਦੇਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਰਿਟਰਨ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ 31 ਮਾਰਚ 2026 ਤੱਕ ਵਧਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ...
