ਨੈਤਿਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ : ਅਜੈਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੱਠਾ  ਕੈਨੇਡਾ 27 ਮਈ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਅਜੈਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੱਠਾ, ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ, ਜਗਤ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਭਾ (ਵਰਲਡ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ) ਨੇ ਨੈਤਿਕਤਾ” ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨੈਤਿਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬੀਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੈਤਿਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਸਿਲੇਬਸ। ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਲੋਕ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਨੈਤਿਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਸੀ। ਦਾਦੇ-ਦਾਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨੇ-ਨਾਨੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਸੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਬੋਲਣਾ, ਵੱਡਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ, ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨੀ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣ ਦੇ ਅਸੂਲ ਵੀ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਸਮਾਂ ਬੜੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਂਝੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਖਿੰਡਰ ਪੁੰਡਰ ਕੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਲੇਬਸ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਲੋਕ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਦੇ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕਈ ਗੁ...

ਅੱਜ 1 ਮਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਕਈ ਨਿਯਮ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 30 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਮਈ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਾਰੀਕ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਕਈ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਆਮ ਲੋਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ। 1 ਮਈ 2026 ਤੋਂ ਕਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਫਾਈਨੈਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਸੋਈ ਗੈਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ, ਏਟੀਐਮ, ਕ੍ਰੇਡਿਟ ਕਾਰਡ, ਤੇਲ,ਯਾਤਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਗੇਮਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਜਿਰਵ ਬੈਂਕ (RBI) ਨੇ ਏਟੀਐਮ ਇੰਟਰਚੇਂਜ ਫੀਸ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਮੁਫਤ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਜੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਿਟ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਹਰ ਵਾਰ ਕੈਸ਼ ਕੱਢਣ ਉਤੇ 23 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇਣੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 21 ਰੁਪਏ ਸੀ। ਮੁਫਤ ਲਿਮਿਟ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਦੇ ਏਟੀਐਮ ਉਤੇ ਹਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ 5 ਮੁਫਤ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਜੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ। ਦੂਜੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਦੇ ਏਟੀਐਮ ਉਤੇ ਮੇਟ੍ਰੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 3 ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨ ਮੇਟ੍ਰੋ ਵਿੱਚ 5 ਫ੍ਰੀ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਜੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਜੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਉਤੇ ਚਾਰਜ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਐਸਬੀਆਈ ਕਾਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਗ੍ਰਾਹਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ 1 ਮਈ ਤੋਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯਮ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਲੇਟ ਪੇਮੈਂਟ ਚਾਰਜ ਵਿਚ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। 100 ਤੋਂ 500 ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਉਤੇ 100 ਰੁਪਏ ਚਾਰਜ ਲਗੇਗਾ। 500 ਤੋਂ 1000 ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਉਤੇ 500 ਰੁਪਏ ਫੀਸ ਦੇਣੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ...

Illegal Encroachment Cleared by RLDA Ludhiana 23 April ( PDL ) : Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) cleared illegal encroachment at its site in Railway Colony No. 13, Civil Lines, Ludhiana. The 5.25 acre land parcel had been allotted to Omaxe earlier through a competitive bidding process conducted by RLDA as part of its land monetisation programme. The illegal encroachment of the site has now been cleared by RLDA. The exercise was completed on April 18, 2026, in coordination with Northern Railway, the Railway Protection Force (RPF), and local administration. With the completion of these statutory and preparatory steps, the land is now available for development. Omaxe will undertake the project in accordance with approved plans, with a mixed-use format comprising residential and commercial components.
