Senior Deputy Mayor Jasbir Singh Bunty Pays Surprise Visit to Kasauli Water Works Chandigarh 7 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Senior Deputy Mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, Shri Jasbir Singh Bunty, paid a surprise visit to the Kasauli Water Works today. He inspected the machinery and operational arrangements in Phase-3 and Phase-4 in detail. During the inspection, he also noticed a large amount of Municipal Corporation scrap lying outside the premises, which needs immediate attention. Corporation staff informed him that Phase-1 and Phase-2 are operated by Punjab staff, while Phase-3 and Phase-4 are managed by employees of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. Water from Phase-3 and Phase-4 is directly supplied to the Sector-39 Water Works. They also mentioned that all four phases were installed between the years 1983 and 2004.
