Good News for Customers: India Post Chandigarh Division Extends Post Office Timings Chandigarh 17 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : India Post’s Chandigarh Division has announced an extension of working hours at 12 selected post offices to make services more convenient for customers. Now, people can book all types of accountable articles at these post offices until late evening. Earlier, these post offices closed at 4:00 PM. From now on, Kharar Post Office, Sector-19, Sector-22, Sector-30 in Chandigarh, and Sector-55, Sector-59, Sector-71 in SAS Nagar will remain open until 5:00 PM. Morinda, Mullanpur, Industrial Area Chandigarh , Sector-12 Chandigarh , and Manimajra post offices will stay open until 4:30 PM. This will help local residents, businesses, shopkeepers, and small entrepreneurs send parcels to national and international destinations in the evening. ਗਾਹਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਹਤ, ਇੰਡੀਆ ਪੋਸਟ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਡਾਕਘਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 17 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡਾਕ (ਇੰਡੀਆ ਪੋਸਟ) ਦੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਹਕ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵਧੀਆ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ 12 ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਡਾਕਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਡਾਕਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਕਾਉਂਟਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹ ਲੇਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੁਕਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਸੁਵਿਧਾ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਹ ਡਾਕਘਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ, ਖਰੜ ਡਾਕਘਰ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਸੈਕਟਰ-19, ਸੈਕਟਰ-22, ਸੈਕਟਰ-30 ਡਾਕਘਰ ਅਤੇ ਐਸਏਐਸ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਸੈਕਟਰ-55, ਸੈਕਟਰ-59, ਸੈਕਟਰ-71 ਡਾਕਘਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਜਦਕਿ ਮੋਰਿੰਡਾ, ਮੁੱਲਾਂਪੁਰ, ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀਅਲ ਏਰੀਆ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ , ਸੈਕਟਰ-12 ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੀਮਾਜਰਾ ਡਾਕਘਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4:30 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕ, ਔਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਇਕਾਈਆਂ, ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਉੱਦਮੀ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਪੋਸਟ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਗੰਤਵਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਰਸਲ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਭੇਜ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਡਾਕਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਕਾਉਂਟਰ ਵੀ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਜੀਪੀਓ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਰਾ...

This course was conducted for 19 officers from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force from May 5, 2025, to October 17, 2025. CGST Faridabad conducts mega e-waste disposal drive under Special Campaign 5.0 Faridabad 17 October ( PDL ) : The CGST Faridabad Commissionerate, under the CGST Panchkula Zone, organised a mega e-waste disposal drive as part of the ongoing Special Campaign 5.0, being observed from October 2 to October 31, 2025. The campaign focuses on institutionalising Swachhata (cleanliness) and minimising pendency in Government offices. During the drive, a substantial quantity of obsolete electronic items — including 57 monitors, 30 CPUs, 20 keyboards, 10 mouse devices, 24 printers, and 1 scanner — were identified, collected, and handed over for disposal in accordance with the E-Waste Management Rules, 2022 - issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. ਸੀਜੀਐਸਟੀ ਫ਼ਰੀਦਾਬਾਦ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ 5.0 ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਮੈਗਾ ਈ-ਕੂੜਾ ਨਿਪਟਾਰਾ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਫ਼ਰੀਦਾਬਾਦ 17 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਸੀਜੀਐਸਟੀ ਪੰਚਕੂਲਾ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਸੀਜੀਐਸਟੀ ਫ਼ਰੀਦਾਬਾਦ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਨੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ 5.0 ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਗਾ ਈ-ਕੂੜਾ ਨਿਪਟਾਰਾ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ। 2 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੋਂ 31 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 2025 ਤੱਕ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਥਾਗਤ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਬਿਤ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ, ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਵਾਯੂ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਈ-ਕੂੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ, 2022 ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, 57 ਮਾਨੀਟਰ, 30 ਸੀਪੀਯੂ, 20 ਕੀਬੋਰਡ, 10 ਮਾਊਸ ਡਿਵਾਈਸ, 24 ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਰ ਅਤੇ 1 ਸਕੈਨਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਿਪਟਾਰੇ ਲਈ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਗਈ। ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ 5.0 ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਈ-ਕੂੜੇ ਦੇ ਨਿਪਟਾਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ, ਰਿਆਜ਼ ਅਹਿਮਦ, ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ, ਸੀਜੀਐਸਟੀ ਫ਼ਰੀਦਾਬਾਦ, ਆਦਿਤਿਆ ਯਾਦਵ, ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ, ਰੂਬਲ ਸਰੋਹਾ, ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ, ਅਤੇ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਨਿਪਟਾਰੇ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਏ...

During his visit, Dr. Shivkumar, along with Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar, inaugurated the new office space for the Dynamic Research Ecosystem in Advanced Materials (DREAMS) grant consortium under the Partnerships for Advanced Interdisciplinary Research (PAIR) scheme in the Har Gobind Khorana Building (SAB Building). “Your Capital – Your Right” Awareness Camp organized in Kapurthala for expeditious settlement of Unclaimed Assets Kapurthala 16 October ( PDL ) : Today under the leadership of the State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) Punjab, a mega awareness camp was organized in Kapurthala district, Punjab. Ramkishor Meena, Deputy General Manager, Punjab National Bank, informed that the Lead District Manager coordinated with all financial institutions to organize this large-scale camp as per the guidelines of the Government of India and the Reserve Bank of India. “Your Money, Your Right” Campaign Successfully Held in Sonipat Unclaimed Financial Assets Awareness Camp to Be Held in Rohtak on 16 October Sonipat 15 October ( PDL ) : As part of the central government’s ongoing “Your Money, Your Right” campaign, aimed at promoting efficient and timely settlement of unclaimed financial assets, the leading district office today organized a district-level Financial Literacy and Awareness Camp at the Community Centre, Sector-15, Sonipat. The camp was inaugurated by Sushil Sarwan, Deputy Commissioner of Sonipat, who highlighted that nearly ₹1.82 lakh crore is currently lying in banks, insurance companies, mutual funds, provident fund organizations, and other financial institutions as unclaimed assets. "ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪੈਸਾ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ" ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸੋਨੀਪਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਐਲਾਨੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਕੈਂਪ 16 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਹਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਸੋਨੀਪਤ 15 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਵਿੱਤੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਐਲਾਨੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਨਿਪਟਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ "ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪੈਸਾ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ" ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਜੋਂ, ਅੱਜ ਲੀਡ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਸੈਂਟਰ, ਸੈਕਟਰ 15, ਸੋਨੀਪਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਾਖਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸੁਸ਼ੀਲ ਸਰਵਣ, ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ, ਸੋਨੀਪਤ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ, ਬੀਮਾ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ, ਮਿਊਚੁਅਲ ਫੰਡ, ਪ੍ਰਾਵੀਡੈਂਟ ਫੰਡ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ ₹182,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਗੈਰ-ਦਾਅਵੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਹਨ। ਸੋਨੀਪਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ 163,000 ਖਾਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ ₹68 ਕਰੋੜ ਗੈਰ-ਦਾਅਵੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦਾਂ ਹਨ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੈਂਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਤਾਧਾਰਕਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਆਯੋਜਿ...
