Chandigarh's CCA Punjab Telecom Circle Organises Quarterly Pension Adalat & Life Certificate Collection Camp in Jalandhar Chandigarh/Jalandhar 17 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Punjab Telecom Circle, Chandigarh, under the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications, organised a Quarterly Pension Adalat & Life Certificate Collection Camp along with a Welfare Camp for pensioners and family pensioners of the Department of Telecommunications and BSNL, at Jalandhar on 17 March 2026. PGI Horticulture Wing Wins Overall Trophy at Vasant Utsav 2026 for Fifth Consecutive Year Chandigarh 16 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Horticulture wing of the institute brought laurels to PGI by winning top position by getting 34 prizes and overall trophy in Vasant Utsav 2026 flower competition organized by PMDA at Town Park, Sector 5, Panchkula from 13.03.2026 to 15.03.2026. The wing got 18 first prizes, 12 second prizes and 4 third prizes in Pot section and cut flower section. The wing won the overall trophy for the 5th consecutive year, which is also a record performance in the show by any competitor.

NHAI to Revise FASTag Annual Pass Fee from 1st April 2026 for FY 2026-27 New Delhi 15 March ( PDL ) : NHAI has announced to revise the applicable fee for Fastag Annual Pass from current Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 3,075 for the Financial Year 2026–27. The increased fee will be applicable from 1st April 2026. The revision in the fee has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008. With over 56 lakh users, the adoption of Fastag Annual Pass has been growing among private vehicle owners. The revised rate will be applicable for eligible non-commercial vehicles with valid FASTag seeking to avail the Annual Pass facility at about 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways. The FASTag Annual Pass eliminates the need to frequently recharge FASTag through one-time fee payment for one year validity or 200 toll plaza crossings. ਐੱਨਐੱਚਏਆਈ ਵਿੱਤ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ 2026-27 ਲਈ 1 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2026 ਤੋਂ ਫਾਸਟੈਗ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਪਾਸ ਫ਼ੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਧ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ 15 ਮਾਰਚ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ 2026-27 ਲਈ ਫਾਸਟੈਗ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਪਾਸ ਦੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਫ਼ੀਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ₹3,000 ਤੋਂ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ₹3,075 ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਵਧੀ ਹੋਈ ਫ਼ੀਸ 1 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 2026 ਤੋਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਸੋਧ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗ ਫ਼ੀਸ (ਦਰ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ) ਨਿਯਮਾਂ, 2008 ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਵਧਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। 56 ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਨਿੱਜੀ ਵਾਹਨ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਫਾਸਟੈਗ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਪਾਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸੋਧੀ ਹੋਈ ਦਰ ਵੈਧ ਫਾਸਟੈਗ ਵਾਲੇ ਯੋਗ ਗੈਰ-ਵਪਾਰਕ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈਸਵੇਅ 'ਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ 1,150 ਟੋਲ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਪਾਸ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਫਾਸਟੈਗ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਪਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਫਾਸਟੈਗ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਰੀਚਾਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੀਸ ਦਾ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਲਈ ਜਾਂ 200 ਟੋਲ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੈਧ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਾਸ ਵੈਧ ਫਾਸਟੈਗ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੈਰ-ਵਪਾਰਕ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਐਪ ਜਾਂ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੀ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ...

Rs 22 Crores worth GST evasion unearthed by CGST Ludhiana; Arrested one Ludhiana 14 March ( PDL ) : In a significant breakthrough against the efforts to curb GST fake billing scam, CGST Ludhiana busted a fake GST firm involved in issuing bogus GST invoices in iron & steel sector based in Mandi Gobindgarh, District Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. Investigation revealed that the firm has received and passed on ineligible Input Tax Credit worth Rs. 22.13 Crores and thus evading GST. The proprietor of the firm was arrested on 12.03.2026 and sent for judicial custody. The CGST Ludhiana Commissionerate reaffirms its commitment to detecting tax frauds and thus ensuring level playing field for honest taxpayers.

ਸੀਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ 22 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼; ਇੱਕ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ 14 ਮਾਰਚ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਬਿਲਿੰਗ ਘੋਟਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਵਜੋਂ, ਸੀਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਫਤਹਿਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਡੀ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਥਿਤ ਲੋਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਪਾਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਇਨਵੌਇਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਫਰਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਫਰਮ ਨੇ 22.13 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਮੁੱਲ ਦਾ ਅਯੋਗ ਇਨਪੁੱਟ ਟੈਕਸ ਕ੍ਰੈਡਿਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫਰਮ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ 12.03.2026 ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਇਕ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੀਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਟੈਕਸ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਈਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਕਰਦਾਤਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

UIDAI Launches Bug Bounty Programme to Further Strengthen Aadhaar Security 20 Experienced Security Researchers and Ethical Hackers Selected to take part in the Initiative New Delhi 11 March ( PDL ) : The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched its first structured Bug Bounty Programme to further strengthen the security of the Aadhaar system. The programme allows cybersecurity experts to look for possible weaknesses in some of UIDAI’s key digital platforms. If they find genuine security gaps and report them responsibly, they will receive rewards based on the seriousness of the issue. A panel of 20 experienced security researchers and ethical hackers has been selected to take part in the initiative. They will examine UIDAI digital assets such as UIDAI official website, myAadhaar portal and the Secure QR Code application. ਯੂਆਈਡੀਏਆਈ ਨੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੱਗ ਬਾਊਂਟੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ 20 ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਖੋਜਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਏਥੀਕਲ ਹੈਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ 11 ਮਾਰਚ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਯੂਨੀਕ ਆਈਡੈਂਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ (ਯੂਆਈਡੀਏਆਈ) ਨੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਬੱਗ ਬਾਊਂਟੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਲਾਂਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਸਾਈਬਰਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਆਈਡੀਏਆਈ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਮੁੱਖ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪਲੈਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਅਸਲ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਖਾਮੀਆਂ ਲੱਭਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਨਾਮ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। 20 ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਖੋਜਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਏਥੀਕਲ ਹੈਕਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਪੈਨਲ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਯੂਆਈਡੀਏਆਈ ਦੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਐਸੈੱਟਸ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯੂਆਈਡੀਏਆਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ, ਮਾਈਆਧਾਰ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਕਿਊਆਰ ਕੋਡ ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਖੋਜਕਰਤਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਸਟਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਟੀਕਲ, ਹਾਈ, ਮੀਡੀਅਮ ਅਤੇ ਘੱਟ ਜੋਖ਼ਮ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਖੋਜੀ ਗਈ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ...
