Punjab Chief Secretary Leads by Example, Urges Citizens to Join Census 2027 Self-Enumeration Drive Chandigarh 1 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Chief Secretary, Punjab, K A P Sinha IAS, completed his self-enumeration at his residence through the online portal (se.census.gov.in). Census & House Listing Operations Begin Across 52,000 Blocks in Haryana Chandigarh 1 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Census and House Listing Operations commenced today across 52,000 House Listing Blocks in Haryana. The exercise is being carried out by trained enumerators drawn from various government departments and private institutions. All enumerators and supervisors have undergone intensive training over the past month to ensure smooth, accurate, and effective conduct of the census. This Census will be fully digital, with complete house listing and data collection done through a mobile application. Citizens who have already completed self-enumeration need only share their Self Enumeration ID with the enumerator. As part of the operations launched today, enumerators are marking houses with serial numbers in each enumeration block. He informed that over 2.45 lakh households in Haryana have already completed self-enumeration, setting a new record and reflecting strong public participation and awareness across the State. ਪੇਕ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਨਰਜੀ ਸਮਿਟ’26 ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ: ਟਿਕਾਊ ਨਵਾਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਉਤਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 27 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਇੰਜੀਨਿਅਰਿੰਗ ਕਾਲਜ (ਡੀਮਡ ਟੂ ਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ), ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਨਰਜੀ ਸਮਿਟ’26 ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਲਰ ਐਨਰਜੀ ਸੋਸਾਇਟੀ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ, ਪੇਕ ਚੈਪਟਰ ਨੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਸਮਿੱਟ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ “ਊਰਜਾ, ਨਵਾਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਯੋਗ” ਸੀ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਨਵਾਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਣਾ ਸੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਇੱਕ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਸਪ੍ਰਿੰਟ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਿਕਾਊ ਊਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ-ਹੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਵਾਚਾਰ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਟਿਕਾਊ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਗਿਆਨਕ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ, ਜੋ ਜਯੰਤ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਐਨਾਲਿਸਟ, ਪਾਵਰ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ, ਅਤੇ ਅਧਵਿਤ ਮਿੱਤਲ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਟ, ਕੌਗਨਿਜ਼ੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਆਈਆਈਐਮ ਬੋਧ ਗਿਆ ਦੇ ਐਲਮਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਹੁਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਟਿਕਾਊਤਾ ਲਕਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇੱਕ ਕੇਸ ਹੈਕਾਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਲ ਊਰਜਾ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ...
