NHAI Successfully Completes Anti-Encroachment Drive on NH-44 and NH-444A Ambala/Chandigarh 29 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), through its Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Ambala, under the Regional Office (RO), Chandigarh, successfully carried out a special anti-encroachment drive along National Highway-44 (NH-44) and National Highway-444A (NH-444A). During the drive, approximately 55 unauthorised temporary structures falling within NHAI land and the Right of Way (ROW) of the said National Highways were successfully removed. The initiative aimed at making the National Highways encroachment-free, ensuring smooth and safe movement of traffic, and enhancing convenience for road users. NHAI will continue to undertake necessary measures to ensure that the Right of Way (ROW) of National Highways remains free from encroachments.

NHAI ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਨਐਚ-44 ਅਤੇ ਐਨਐਚ-444ਏ 'ਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਸੰਪੰਨ ਅੰਬਾਲਾ/ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 29 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ (NHAI) ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ (RO), ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਲਾਗੂਕਰਨ ਇਕਾਈ (PIU), ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗ-44 (NH-44) ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗ-444ਏ (NH-444A) 'ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਹਟਾਓ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਚਲਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਉਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਐਨਐਚਏਆਈ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ (Right of Way – ROW) ਅਧੀਨ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲਗਭਗ 55 ਅਣਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਢਾਂਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ, ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਦੀ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੜਕ ਉਪਭੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ। ਐਨਐਚਏਆਈ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਰਗ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ (ROW) ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ।

NCLT Records Best-Ever Quarterly Performance; Chandigarh Bench Approves 9 Resolution Plans Worth Rs 1,079 Crore Chandigarh 8 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has recorded its highest-ever quarterly performance with 107 Resolution Plans approved during the second quarter of FY 2026–27, with the Chandigarh Bench accounting for 9 approvals involving plans worth Rs 1,079.07 crore. The 107 Resolution Plans approved between July and September 2026 mark the highest number cleared by the Tribunal in any quarter since its inception. The figure is also the highest number of approvals recorded during a second quarter in the history of the NCLT. The Chandigarh Bench emerged as one of the significant contributors to this performance, approving nine Resolution Plans during the quarter.
