IISER Mohali Holds 15th Convocation; 348 Students Receive Degrees S.A.S.Nagar 16 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali today held its 15th Convocation, marking another significant milestone in the Institute's journey as a premier centre for science education and research. A total of 348 students received degrees at the Convocation ceremony held on the Institute campus. These included 215 students of the Integrated BS-MS programme, 10 students of the BS programme, 2 students of the BS Honours programme, 5 students of the MS programme, 9 students of the Integrated MS-PhD programme, and 107 students of the PhD programme. The Convocation was presided over by Prof. J. S. ਆਈਆਈਐੱਸਈਆਰ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦਾ 15ਵਾਂ ਕਨਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਸੰਪੰਨ; 348 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਡਿਗਰੀਆਂ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ.ਨਗਰ 16 ਜੂਨ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਭਾਰਤੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਸੰਸਥਾਨ (ਆਈਆਈਐੱਸਈਆਰ) ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦਾ 15ਵਾਂ ਕਨਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅੱਜ ਸੰਸਥਾਨ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਸਥਾਨ ਦੀ ਵਧਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼ਠਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਰਿਹਾ। ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ 348 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਗਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਕੀਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਬੀਐੱਸ-ਐੱਮਐੱਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ 215 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ, ਬੀਐੱਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ 10 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ, ਬੀਐੱਸ ਆਨਰਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ 2 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ, ਐੱਮਐੱਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ 5 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ, ਏਕੀਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਐੱਮਐੱਸ-ਪੀਐੱਚਡੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ 9 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਐੱਚਡੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ 107 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਕਨਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਬੋਰਡ ਆਫ਼ ਗਵਰਨਰਜ਼ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜੇ. ਐੱਸ. ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨੇਟ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਾਠੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਖੋਜ ਸੰਗਠਨ (ਇਸਰੋ) ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਏ.ਐੱਸ. ਕਿਰਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਨ। ਆਪਣੇ ਕਨਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਰਨ ਕੁਮਾ...

House Listing and Housing Census Phase of Census 2027 Successfully Completed in Punjab Chandigarh 14 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The House Listing and Housing Census (Phase-I) of the Census of India 2027 has been successfully completed across the State of Punjab during the notified period from 15th May 2026 to 13th June 2026. The Operation was carried out under the guidance of the Chief Secretary, Punjab, and with the support of the Department of Local Government, Punjab. During this phase, Enumerators visited allotted House Listing Blocks in all villages and urban wards across the State and collected information relating to the building, census house and household through a specially designed mobile application notified by the Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, New Delhi, Government of India, covering important aspects such as housing conditions, availability of household amenities and ownership of assets.
