Government College of Education, Chandigarh Invites Applications for M.Ed. Programme (Session 2026–28) Chandigarh 1 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Applications have been invited for admission to the Master of Education (M.Ed.) programme for the academic session 2026–28 at the Government College of Education, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh. Established in 1954, the college is affiliated with Panjab University, Chandigarh, and is accredited with ‘A+’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institution has consistently maintained its commitment to excellence in teacher education, research, innovation, and professional development. ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ਼ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਮ.ਐੱਡ. ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ (ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2026–28) ਲਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 1 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ਼ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਸੈਕਟਰ 20-ਡੀ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2026–28 ਲਈ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਆਫ਼ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ (ਐਮ.ਐੱਡ.) ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲੇ ਲਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਾਲ 1954 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਇਹ ਕਾਲਜ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਅਸੈਸਮੈਂਟ ਐਂਡ ਐਕ੍ਰੈਡੀਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੌਂਸਲ (NAAC) ਵੱਲੋਂ ‘A+’ ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੈ। ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਖੋਜ, ਨਵੀਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਐਮ.ਐੱਡ. ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ 1 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ 9 ਸਤੰਬਰ, 2026 ਤੱਕ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਓ, ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਓ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। B.Ed., B.Ed. (ਯੋਗਾ), B.Ed. (ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ), B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. Students Plant Trees at Star Public School, Honour ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign Message of Prophet Muhammad Sahib on Respecting and Protecting Nature Also Highlighted S.A.S.Nagar 26 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Students of Star Public School, Sector-69, Mohali, participated in a tree plantation drive and spread the message of environmental protection. The students planted saplings on the school premises and pledged to take care of them while encouraging people to plant more trees. Along with the message of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, the programme also highlighted Prophet Muhammad Sahib’s message of respecting and protecting nature and the environment. The school management said that developing a sense of environmental responsibility among children is the need of the hour. Such tree plantation activities not only connect students with nature but also inspire society to contribute towards keeping the surroundings clean, green and healthy.

Hindi Week Celebrated at DPS Mohali S.A.S.Nagar 14 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Delhi Public School, Mohali, celebrated Hindi Week from 11 to 14 August 2026 with a series of engaging and creative language activities for students of Classes VI–VIII. The celebrations aimed to foster a deeper appreciation for Hindi while providing students with opportunities to express their ideas, imagination, and creativity.
