Union Raises Issue of Safeguarding Employees' Interests at JERC Meeting Chandigarh 18 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Today, March 18, 2026, the Chandigarh Administration submitted 'True-up' petitions for the years 2024-25, 2023-24, and 2024-25 to the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC). Additionally, CPCL submitted its True-up petition for the months of February and March 2025. ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਚ.ਐੱਮ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ 18 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਜੀ.ਐੱਮ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਚ–16 ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਰੋਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਥਗਿਤ  ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 17 ਮਾਰਚ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਚ.ਐੱਮ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਈਮੇਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ 18 ਮਾਰਚ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਜੀ.ਐੱਮ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਚ–16 ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਰੋਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੁਣ ਲਈ ਸਥਗਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਾ ਰਿਬਨ ਲਗਾਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਾਤਮਕ ਰੋਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੈਠਕ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਯਕੀਨ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ 긍ਾਤਮਕ ਰਵੱਈਏ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਵੀ ਕਮੀ ਫਾਈਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਜਲਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਪਹਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਸਰਵਸੰਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਲੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਲਈ ਸਥਗਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਤਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਐਰੀਅਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਛਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਬਲਕਿ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੰਬਿਤ ਮ...

Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Submit Memorandum Against Draft Rules Issued by the Social Welfare Department Chandigarh 16 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Union has strongly opposed the draft recruitment and promotion rules issued by the Social Welfare Department, Chandigarh. In a letter of protest submitted to the Director and Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, the Union explicitly expressed its displeasure, stating that the draft rules issued by the department constitute a conspiracy against the employees working under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme—including Anganwadi workers, helpers, supervisors, and CDPOs. Memorandum Submitted by Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Against Draft Rules Issued by the Social Welfare Department Chandigarh 13 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Union has strongly opposed the draft recruitment and promotion rules issued by the Social Welfare Department, Chandigarh. In a letter of protest submitted to the Director and Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, the Union explicitly expressed its displeasure, stating that the draft rules issued by the Department constitute a conspiracy against the employees working under the ICDS umbrella—including Anganwadi workers, helpers, supervisors, and CDPOs. Anganwadi Workers and Helpers announce a strike on March 19th if their demands are not met. Chandigarh 28 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A meeting of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Union was held on February 19th, 2026, under the chairmanship of President Neelam Kumari. The meeting discussed in detail the demands submitted by Heroine on November 28th, 2025, and it was noted that despite the union's advertisement and general body meeting, appealing to the Social Welfare Department to resolve the demands through dialogue with the Department, the Social Welfare Department officials were not taking any action.  The meeting took immediate note of this fact, and it was realized that all the demands submitted on November 28th are still pending, leading to a wave of anger among Anganwadi workers and helpers.
