ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 7 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, 1 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੋਂ 20 ਅਗਸਤ, 2025 ਤੱਕ ਕੁੱਲ 1,02,222 ਚਲਾਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਯਾਨੀ ਔਸਤਨ, ਹਰ ਘੰਟੇ ਲਗਭਗ 96 ਚਲਾਨ, ਭਾਵ ਲਗਭਗ ਹਰ ਮਿੰਟ ਇੱਕ ਚਲਾਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 84,204 ਚਲਾਨ (82%) ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਟ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਸਿਸਟਮ (ਆਈਟੀਐਮਐਸ) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ 18,018 ਚਲਾਨ (18%) ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਜੁਲਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਚਲਾਨ 71,655 ਸਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 54,857 ਚਲਾਨ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ 16,798 ਚਲਾਨ ਮੈਨੂਅਲ ਸਨ। 27 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ, ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 2,705 ਚਲਾਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 2,292 ਚਲਾਨ ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਤੇ 413 ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਅਗਸਤ 2025 ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ 20 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, 30,567 ਚਲਾਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 29,347 ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਖੋਜੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ 1,220 ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਅਗਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਚਲਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 10 ਤਰੀਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ...
