Mehndi Program for Women on the eve of Karva Chauth by SBI Officers Association Chandigarh 10 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : SBI Officers Association Panchkula Module organised a grand Mehndi programme for women on the eve of Karva Chauth in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Kurukshetra and Ambala. SBI DONATES FUNDS TO FOUR STATES FOR FLOOD RELIEF Chandigarh 6 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The country largest Bank, State Bank of India having its Local Head Office at Chandigarh which is controlling its Branches in four states of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir donates a sum of Rs. 1.55 Crores each to these four states as a relief fund for recent disastrous floods effecting the common people and infrastructure of these states. The funds have been generated by donating one day’s privilege leave by the Officers and Employees of SBI, Chandigarh Circle. On 4th Oct 2025, the cheques of Rs. 1.55 Crores was handed over to Chief Ministers of Punjab Sh Bhagwant Mann and CM of Haryana Sh Nayab Singh Saini by the senior Officials and Trade Union representatives of SBI Chandigarh Circle.
