IIT Ropar Signs MoU with Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University to Launch Joint PG Diploma in UAV Operations and Drone Technology Ropar 10 June ( PDL ) : The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) to jointly offer a one-year Post Graduate Diploma programme in UAV Operations and Drone Technology. The MoU was signed by Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar, and Prof. Bhrigu Nath Singh, Vice Chancellor, RGNAU, in the presence of faculty and officials from both institutions. CU Punjab Celebrates World Environment Day 2026 with ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Plantation Drive Bathinda 4 June ( PDL ) : The Central University of Punjab (CU Punjab), Bathinda, celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with great enthusiasm by organizing a plantation drive under the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future” and the nationwide campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.” The programme was jointly organized by the Department of Environmental Sciences and Technology in collaboration with the NSS Cell, CUPB near the New Library on the university campus.
