1.3 MT of Kullu Pomegranates Exported to Dubai APEDA Chandigarh facilitates UAE shipment of Sindhuri variety; produce sourced from an FPO associated with around 600 farmers Chandigarh 22 october ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A consignment of 1.3 metric tonnes of Sindhuri variety pomegranates grown in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh was exported to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on October 21, 2026. The Regional Office of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Chandigarh, facilitated the export. The pomegranates were sourced directly from local farmers and the Bhuntar Farmer Producer Company (FPO), Kullu, which is associated with approximately 600 farmers.
