Forest workers, enraged over not receiving salaries for 5 months, staged a protest march in Patiala city. Announcement of protest in Dirba constituency of the Finance Minister of Punjab on August 18 Patiala/Chandigarh 14 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A massive protest was held in front of the DFO Patiala office under the chairmanship of Jaswinder Singh Sauja, Sher Singh Sirhind, Jagtar Singh Sahpur, Bhupinder Singh Sadhoheri and Joga Singh Wajidpur, President of Forest Workers Union Punjab District Patiala. Despite heavy rain and bad weather since this morning, a large number of forest workers armed with their flags, mottos and banners reached this protest with full enthusiasm and shouting slogans. 5 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਨਖਾਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੇ ਭੜਕੇ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਕਾਮਿਆ ਨੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਸਹਿਰ ਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਰੋਸ ਮਾਰਚ  18 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਹਲਕਾ ਦਿੜਬਾ ਚ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ/ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 14 ਅਗਸਤ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਵਰਕਰਜ਼ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਜਿਲਾ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੌਜਾ, ਸੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਹਿੰਦ, ਜਗਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਪੁਰ, ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਧੋਹੇੜੀ ਤੇ ਜੋਗਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਜੀਦਪੁਰ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਡੀ ਐਫ ਓ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਿਸਾਲ ਰੋਸ ਧਰਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ । ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਤੇ ਖਰਾਬ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਕਾਮੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਮਾਟੋ ਤੇ ਬੈਨਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਜੋਸ਼ੋ ਖਰੋਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਹਰੇ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਧਰਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁੱਜੇ। ਧਰਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸੁਬਾਰਡੀਨੇਟ ਸਰਵਿਸਿਜ਼ ਫੈਡਰੇਸਨ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੇਲੂਮਾਜਰਾ, ਲਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਖਾਨਪੁਰ, ਜਸਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੋਖਰ,ਧਰਮਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੌਟ ਤੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਸੋਈ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਣ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜੀਵ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ 30/30 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਕਾਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਿਆ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਕਾਮਿਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ 5 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਨਖਾਹਾਂ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੀਆ ਗਈਆ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਕਾਮੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹਨ।  ਉਹਨਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵ...

MP Rajinder Gupta participates in Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally in Delhi Punjab/Chandigarh/New Delhi 14 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Padmashri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman Emeritus, Trident Group and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on Wednesday. The rally was flagged off by the Hon’ble Vice-President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, in the presence of Union Ministers, Members of Parliament and other public representatives.
