He stated that this initiative marks a significant shift towards making Chandigarh a more business-friendly and investment-driven city. Rahul Sharma highlighted that more than 65,164 units are currently operating in Chandigarh’s MSME sector, providing employment to nearly 4,68,626 people. BJP outsourcing leadership in Punjab : Warring Says, party daydreaming about forming govt in state Chandigarh 28 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today took a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party for appointing Kewal Singh Dhillon, a former Congressman, as its state president. Reacting to the appointment, the PCC president said, “the BJP appointing Kewal Singh Dhillon as state president speaks for itself about state of the party in Punjab”. The party that is “daydreaming” about forming the government in Punjab cannot find anyone worth from its own stable to lead the state, he remarked, while adding, “the party is left with no option but to outsource even its state presidents-second in a row. First it was Mr Sunil Jakhar and now Mr Kewal Singh Dhillon, both from the Congress”.

Wake up call for Punjab : Warring Says, terrorists releasing video footage of Amritsar cop’s killing is worrisome Chandigarh 28 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today said that the terrorists releasing the alleged video footage showing the killing of an ASI in Amritsar is a cause of serious concern and much worrisome. “It is a wake up call for Punjab”, he warned, while regretting that those responsible do not seem to be taking the matter seriously. The PCC president said that it is quite serious and alarming that the terrorists had the audacity, first to kill a cop who was going to join his duty and video record it and eventually release it in the public domain. He regretted that the Punjab Police was earlier in denial mode and refused to accept that it was a terror related incident.
