Paras Dhiman, was diagnosed with gallstones and a gallbladder infection 3 months ago, along with a rare condition called Portal Cavernoma, where the main vein supplying blood to the liver gets blocked and is replaced by multiple fragile blood vessels. The leaders stated that in 2025, Verka Milkfed had floated tenders to provide hybrid maize seeds to farmers at a 30 percent subsidy. The tender was reportedly awarded to a Mansa-based firm, Nav-Durga Trading Company. It was alleged that the firm only submitted bills for the seeds, while no actual supply was made.
