Huge enthusiasm is being seen among women for its preparations. Be it dressing up, wearing attractive clothes or the sixteen adornments of married women, women are leaving no stone unturned. While getting ready, a huge rush of women was also seen at the mehndi stalls. Onkar Marketing located in Sector 24 had made special arrangements for applying mehndi for women. Around 15 trained mehndi artists have been stationed in front of their outlet. They are applying mehndi for free to the women who shop from the outlet. Ravinder Singh Billa, director of Onkar Marketing, said that Omkar Marketing has been providing this service for almost a decade. Girls from needy families are seated in front of the outlet to apply mehndi. All of these girls are skilled in the art of mehndi.
