Women are showing craze for applying mehndi. Chandigarh 9 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Only a few hours are left for the Karva Chauth festival. Huge enthusiasm is being seen among women for its preparations. Be it dressing up, wearing attractive clothes or the sixteen adornments of married women, women are leaving no stone unturned. While getting ready, a huge rush of women was also seen at the mehndi stalls.  Onkar Marketing located in Sector 24 had made special arrangements for applying mehndi for women. Around 15 trained mehndi artists have been stationed in front of their outlet. They are applying mehndi for free to the women who shop from the outlet. Ravinder Singh Billa, director of Onkar Marketing, said that Omkar Marketing has been providing this service for almost a decade. Girls from needy families are seated in front of the outlet to apply mehndi. All of these girls are skilled in the art of mehndi.

World Photography Day - Punjab Mandi Board’s photographer Arvinder Singh Honored S.A.S.Nagar/Chandigarh 20 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the occasion of World Photography Day, a workshop was organized by the Chandigarh Photographers Association in collaboration with Sony company. In this workshop, detailed information was provided about Sony’s camera features and new technologies.
