ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੀ ਫੰਡਿੰਗ 60:40 ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਾਰ ਪਵੇਗੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਆਪ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੰਡਿੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਡਿਫਾਲਟਰ ਹੈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 16 ਦਸੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਕੌਮੀ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਗਰੰਟੀ ਸਕੀਮ (ਮਨਰੇਗਾ) ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਵਿਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਗਰੰਟੀ ਫਾਰ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਐਂਡ ਆਜੀਵਿਕਾ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤਹਿਤ ਫੰਡਿੰਗ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ 60:40 ਅਨੁਪਾਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਥੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਇਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਖਰਚ 60:40 ਦੇ ਅਨੁਪਾਤ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ ਮੌਲਿਕ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਅਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ ਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਰਾ ਲਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੀ ਗਰੰਟੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਸਕੀਮ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਢਲਾ ਮੰਤਵ ਹੀ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਇਸਦਾ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਅਰਥਚਾਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਰਾਜਾਂ ’ਸਿਰ ਪਾ ਦੇਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਵ...

SAD requests SEC to extend deadline for holding Block Samiti and Zila Parishad elections. Chandigarh 11 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today requested the State Election Commission (SEC) to extend the polling hours from 7 am to 5 pm on December 14 to ensure maximum participation in the Block Samiti and Zila Parishad elections. In a request to the SEC, senior SAD leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said the present polling deadline between 8 am to 4 pm was woefully short. “The restricted timings will prevent poor families, farmers and daily wagers from exercising their democratic right, ultimately reducing overall voter turnout. ਸੂਬਾ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਬਲਾਕ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੱਦ ਵਧਾਵੇ : ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 11 ਦਸੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਸੂਬਾ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ 14 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਲਾਕ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਦ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਮਾਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ 7.00 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 5.00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸੂਬਾ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਡਾ. ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਤੈਅ 8.00 ਵਜੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4.00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੱਦ ਸੀਮਤ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਗਰੀਬ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਹਾੜੀਦਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਵੋਟ ਦਰ ਘਟੇਗੀ। ਡਾ. ਚੀਮਾ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬਾ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਰਾਜ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮਤਦਾਨ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਂ ਵਧਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਰਗ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੋਟ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਬਜ਼ਰਵਰ ਦੀ ਤਾਇਨਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਢੁਕਵੀਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
