A special *Drug Awareness Session* for students of Class X was organized today at Delhi Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh. The session was conducted by Dhiraj Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Chandigarh Chandigarh 12 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The objective of the session was to sensitize students about the *harmful effects of drug abuse* and to create awareness about *Say No to Drugs*. DSP Dhiraj Kumar apprised the students about the types of drugs, reasons for addiction, its ill effects on health, family and society, and legal consequences under the *NDPS Act*. The team comprised officials from *ANTF* including Kulwinder Kaur( Inspector PS. Sector 11), Jai Parkash Singh (SHO P.S. sec 39),  Ravdeep Singh (Addl. SHO Sec 39) and Kuldeep Singh (Sub Inspector Palsora Sec 56). The Nursery learners celebrated this special occasion with immense jubilation, merrymaking and happiness. Inter-DPS Quiz 2026 to Be Held on July 23–24 at DPS Chandigarh Chandigarh 21 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Delhi Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, under the aegis of The Delhi Public School Society, will host the Inter-DPS Quiz 2026 (Zone-1) on July 23 and 24, bringing together students from 19 DPS schools across North India to showcase their knowledge and intellectual abilities. The competition will be conducted in two categories. The Junior Category will feature students from Classes VI to VIII, while the Senior Category will include participants from Classes IX to XII.
