This year’s theme was ‘We All Are Winners,’ which encouraged confidence and a positive spirit among the children. Students from Play Class to UKG took part in various activities and showed great energy, discipline, and sportsmanship. The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a march past by the little children. Children's Day Celebrations held at GMHS, Sector 29 Chandigarh 13 November ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Children's Day Celebrations were held at Government Model High School Sector 29A Chandigarh today. City Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla was Chief Guest on the occasion. She inaugurated the 'Bal Mela'. Students of the school had themselves organised various stalls of food and games. She also released a Table Calendar hand made by children. Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla said that children are the pillars of our society and it's our responsibility to provide them with a nurturing environment that fosters their growth and development.
