Around 50 women entrepreneurs and members of Self-Help Groups from different districts of Haryana will showcase their products and share their success stories at Himachal Bhawan, Chandigarh, on August 21. Women working in food processing and food products will also be felicitated during the programme, with financial incentives for the top three participants. Haryana Rice Millers Protest Outside Food & Supplies Department Over ₹2,600 Crore Paddy Payments Chandigarh 13 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Office-bearers and members of the Haryana Rice Millers Association staged a protest outside the Food & Supplies Department on Thursday, expressing anger over the long-pending issue involving paddy stocks and payments worth around ₹2,600 crore. The millers said the delay has pushed rice millers across the state into a serious financial crisis. Those present during the protest included Hansraj Singla, Jewel Singla, Saurabh Gupta, Raj Kumar Gupta, Rajinder Monga, Balraj Deswal, Naresh Bansal, Ravinder Sharma, Naresh Mehta and Rampal Goel, along with other office-bearers and members of the association. ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਪੀਡਬਲਿਊਡੀ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ 18 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ, ਲੰਬਿਤ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 17 ਜੂਨ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਆਲ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਪੀਡਬਲਿਊਡੀ ਕਾਂਟ੍ਰੈਕਟਰਜ਼ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ 18 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 11:30 ਵਜੇ ਸੈਕਟਰ-33ਏ ਸਥਿਤ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਸਦਨ ਦੇ ਕਨਵੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਰਲ ਬਾਡੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ (ਜੀਬੀਐਮ) ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 1 ਵਜੇ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਵੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਭਰ ਤੋਂ ਪੀਡਬਲਿਊਡੀ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ, ਲੰਬਿਤ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਪੇਸ਼ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਜੈਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ, ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੈਟਰੋਲੀਅਮ ਉਤਪਾਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਟੂਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਭਾਰੀ ਵਾਧੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਦਰਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਜੈਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਰਾਹਤ ਪੈਕੇਜ, ਠੇਕਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਰਾਂ ਦੀ ...
