Public Interest Petition in High Court Over Compensation for 9-Year-Old POCSO Survivor Chandigarh 12 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued notice on a Public Interest Litigation seeking relief under the Victim Compensation Scheme for a nine-year-old girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted. The next hearing in the matter has been scheduled for September 16, 2026. Advocate and Bar Council member Harpreet Singh Multani briefed the media about the development at the High Court on Wednesday.
