Education Department employees march towards Chief Minister's residence, police block road near Nature Park behind Burail Jail S.A.S.Nagar May 31( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On Sunday, Education Department employees marched towards Chandigarh to surround Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's official residence with other legitimate demands including restoration of Punjab scale, old pension and allowances, but Mohali and Chandigarh Police blocked the path of the protesters by erecting barricades near Nature Park in Mohali behind Burail Jail. Due to which tension increased due to the scuffle between the police and employees. Education Department employees had gathered in front of Gurdwara Amb Sahib at 11 am today under the banner of Old Scale, Old Pension and Allowance Restoration Morcha. Perfect 100 & more: PhysicsWallah students record success at CBSE Class 10 Board examinations 2026  Chandigarh 16 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Thursday marked a day of celebration for education company PhysicsWallah (PW) as several of its students emerged as high scorers in the CBSE Class 10 Examinations 2026, amongst whom were students who scored a perfect 100 per cent. Among the top performers were Vaibhav Arora from Fazilka, Punjab, Amolik Pandita from Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Ayusman Mohapatra from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, who scored 100 per cent marks, securing top rank in the country.  Furthermore, PW Vidyapeeth, the tech-enabled offline centres of PhysicsWallah, hosted a felicitation ceremony in Chandigarh. PW students from the city who performed well in the CBSE Class 10 Board Examinations 2026 were felicitated. 100% ਅੰਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੂੰਜ: ਫਿਜ਼ਿਕਸਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੀਬੀਐਸਈ 10ਵੀਂ ਬੋਰਡ 2026 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 16 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਫਿਜ਼ਿਕਸਵਾਲਾ (ਪੀਡਬਲਿਊ) ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ Central Board of Secondary Education (ਸੀਬੀਐਸਈ) ਕਲਾਸ 10 ਬੋਰਡ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ 2026 ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚ ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ 100% ਅੰਕ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇਸ਼ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਤਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੈਭਵ ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਅਹਿਮਦਾਬਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਅਮੋਲਿਕ ਪੰਡਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਓਡੀਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਭੁਵਨੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਯੁਸ਼ਮਾਨ ਮਹਾਪਾਤ੍ਰਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 100% ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਵੋੱਚ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਪੀਡਬਲਿਊ ਵਿਦਿਆਪੀਠ, ਜੋ ਫਿਜ਼ਿਕਸਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਤਕਨੀਕ-ਸਮਰੱਥ ਆਫਲਾਈਨ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹਨ, ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੀਬੀਐਸਈ ਕਲਾਸ 10 ਬੋਰਡ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ 2026 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੈਭਵ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਨਿਯਮਿਤ ਤਿਆਰੀ, ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਡਬਲਿਊ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਨੁਮਾਈ...

Gurvaris Singh has earned a PhD in Music in 2026 from Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, at the young age of just 27. With this achievement, he will now be known as Dr. Gurvaris Singh. Obtaining a doctoral degree at such a young age is considered a matter of pride not only for his family but also for the entire region and the music community. Week-long AI Workshop for Teaching and Research Excellence Organised by IDC Chandigarh 2 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A week-long intensive Artificial Intelligence (AI) workshop for teaching and research excellence that concluded today was organised online by the Chandigarh-based Institute for Development and Communication (IDC), an approved research centre of Panjab University, Chandigarh. Expert sessions were delivered by faculty from Jamia Millia Islamia and Jawaharlal Nehru University in the capital, bringing diverse institutional perspectives and national-level academic insights on AI in higher education.
