Punjabi Cultural Council hails restoration of Panjab University senate as victory for democracy Chandigarh 5 November ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Punjabi Cultural Council has welcomed the Central Government’s decision to withdraw its controversial notification dissolving the Senate and Syndicate of Panjab University, calling it a victory for Punjab’s academic community, students and democratic values. The move has effectively reinstated both governing bodies, restoring the university’s long-standing democratic framework. Chandigarh 11 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The "Litigation Policy" recently announced by the Chandigarh Administration, if implemented properly, aims to provide relief to both employees and the administration from unnecessary legal battles, said Ashok Kumar, President of All Contractual Karamchari Sangh Bharat, (Regd.), UT Chandigarh. He added that it is also a matter of concern whether this policy will also be applied to cases where contract employees who have been working for years have gone to court seeking regularization. ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਦਿਵਸ ‘ਤੇ ਰੌਬੋਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੌਬੋਟ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਜਲੰਧਰ 15 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਪਾ ਗੁਜਰਾਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸਿਟੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਪੋਲੀਟੈਕਨਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਰੌਬੋਟ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ 15 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਰਤਨ ਸਰ ਮੌਕਸ਼ਗੰਡਮ ਵੈਸ਼ਵਰੀਆ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੇ 300 ਤੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਾ, ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਹੁਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਜੁੱਟਤਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੌਬੋਟ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ, ਸੰਚਾਲਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਨਰ, ਰਚਨਾਤਿਮਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਮੁੱਠ ਹੋਕੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਪਲੇਟਫ਼ਾਰਮ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਾਵੲਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਧਰਤਾਲ ਉਪਰ ਰੌਬਿਟ ਚਲਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੇਸ਼ ਗਰੋਵਰ ਨੇ ਸਨਅੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਯੋਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੌਬੋਟ ਦੀ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ‘ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।  ਉਨ੍ਹ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਰੌਬੋਟ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੌਬੋਟ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਥ...
