Warring seeks answers from BJP over smuggling of drugs into India Says, saffron party playing friendly match with its B-team in Punjab on drugs Asserts, buck stops at union Home Minister Amit Shah Chandigarh 17 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the centre over the smuggling of huge quantity of drugs into India, particularly through Punjab borders, saying that the buck stops at the union Home Minister Amit Shah, who controls the Border Security Force. Reacting to the proposed ‘yatra’ of the BJP against drugs in Punjab, Warring said, it is indeed a fact that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has not only failed to curb the drugs, but has added to the problem. He said, the AAP has been a complete disaster in curbing the drugs. But, he added, the BJP government at the centre cannot escape the responsibility either. ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਛੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਏਕੀਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 12 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਛੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ “ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਏਕੀਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਧਿਆਨ” ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ 9 ਤੋਂ 11 ਸਤੰਬਰ, 2026 ਤੱਕ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟੋਰੇਟ ਆਫ਼ ਹਾਇਰ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ (DHE), ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਵਿਦਿਆਪੀਠਮ, ਕੇਰਲ ਦੇ ਯੂਥ ਐਮਪਾਵਰਮੈਂਟ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਡਾ. ਸੁਪਨਾ ਨੰਦਾ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ਼ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਸੈਕਟਰ 20-ਡੀ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਛੇ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਇਕਾਈਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰੀਰਕ, ਮਾਨਸਿਕ, ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਣਾਅ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ, ਆਰਾਮ, ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ, ਇਕਾਗਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈ-ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ। ਸੈਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਆਨੰਦ, ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਵੇਤਾ ਆਨੰਦ, ਐਸੋਸੀਏਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ, ਯੂਥ ਐ...

12-Day Universal Human Values Students Induction Programme Concludes at Government College of Education Chandigarh 1 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The 12-day Students' Induction Programme (SIP) on Universal Human Values (UHV) for B.Ed. Semester-III students concluded at Government College of Education, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh, on Friday. Organised by the college's UHV Cell in collaboration with the UHV Cell of Panjab University, the programme was held from July 20 to August 1 in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Education Department employees march towards Chief Minister's residence, police block road near Nature Park behind Burail Jail S.A.S.Nagar May 31( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On Sunday, Education Department employees marched towards Chandigarh to surround Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's official residence with other legitimate demands including restoration of Punjab scale, old pension and allowances, but Mohali and Chandigarh Police blocked the path of the protesters by erecting barricades near Nature Park in Mohali behind Burail Jail.
