Chandigarh 25 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Even after 58 years of Haryana state coming into existence, we are deprived of our independent and separate new capital and separate high court. This is going to hurt the self-respect of the three crore people of the state. This was said by Randeep Lohchab Chaudhariwas, Convenor "Swabhimaan Andolan" during a press conference in Chandigarh. Randeep Singh Lohchab further said that at present the Haryana State Government is planning to build a new Haryana Vidhan Sabha building near the Panchkula border in Chandigarh. The construction of a big new Haryana Vidhan Sabha building in Chandigarh for the increased seats of the new assembly of the upcoming 2029 shows that the current Haryana government and the opposition have no interest in building a new capital and a separate high court in the middle of the state, their thinking is that if a new capital is ever built after some time, it should be built in Panchkula only. He further said that the head offices of many departments are being built in Panchkula for the last two decades. The indication is clear that if the new Vidhan Sabha will be built in Chandigarh, then in future the state capital will never be built in the middle of Haryana. This will be a wound that will never heal for the people of the state and future generations. Randeep Lohchab said that Chandigarh is located in the middle of Punjab, in a remote corner of Haryana. To come here from South West Haryana, one has to travel 800 kilometers through the middle of Punjab. Due to which our time and money is wasted. There are many types of difficulties. The development, trade, business and employment of the state is decreasing. Our respect, self-respect is dying, the enthusiasm of the young generation is decreasing. In the present situation, the need of the hour is that the new Vidhan Sabha building should not be built in Chandigarh but in the middle of Haryana state. Beyond Delhi, a survey should be conducted between Hisar, Meham, Jind Bhiwani at equal distance from North South and it should be built at a suitable place. A separate High Court of Haryana state should be built here. A beautiful, world class city with ultra-modern facilities should be built at this place. Even after a long delay, the present Haryana government has a golden opportunity to rectify the past mistakes. A capital in the middle of Haryana can make every citizen of Haryana prosperous. The geographical location of Haryana is such that Haryana will become India's Singapore and earn fame in the world. When a new capital will be built in the middle of Haryana, a beautiful, world-class city with ultra-modern facilities will be built. Nyaypaksh is running a "Swabhimaan Andolan" on this issue in accordance with public sentiments for the state's interest, public interest, bright future of future generations, facilities, equal development, employment to youth, respect and civic self-respect. Our Satyagraha to the government is that in this session itself, by passing the bill to build Haryana's Vidhan Sabha Bhawan in the middle of Haryana, justice should be done to the state and the people.
