Abhimanyu, who studied in Chandigarh, became a Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
Chandigarh 10 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Lieutenant Abhimanyu is originally a resident of village Ghaso Khurd, district Jind, Haryana. He has completed his entire education from Chandigarh. Commissioned in the Indian Army on 6 September at the rank of Lieutenant after completing 120th course from OTA, Chennai. Abhimanyu completed his BA Honors LLB, LLM from Punjab University Chandigarh in 2024. His father, Dr. Satyawan Paulist, retired from the Indian Air Service as a Sergeant and is currently a Professor in the English Department at the Post Graduate Government College, Sector 46, Chandigarh. His mother is a home maker. Elder sister Shweta is a counselling psychologist and is married to an Indian Air Force officer helicopter pilot. Since childhood, Abhimanyu wanted to join the Indian Armed Forces and especially the Army. His maternal grandfather retired as Subedar Major and his maternal uncle as Subedar. Growing up in a military environment always inspired him to join the army. He excelled in studies and sports. Completed schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya 47, Chandigarh.
