Chandigarh 13 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Today on 13th September 2025, the annual elections of Chandigarh NHM Employees Union were held. In which Babita Rawat was re-elected for the post of President for the sixth time by all the present NHM employees unanimously. Babita Rawat, Nursing Officer has been unanimously given the responsibility of the post of President for the sixth consecutive time. Earlier, under her chairmanship, the demand of honorarium salary pending for years was fulfilled by NHM, Health Department, in which hundreds of workers got the benefit of a good amount of salary increase. Whereas Vijay Kumar was again given the responsibility of the post of Chairman.Vijay Kumar,(Chairman), Mahavir Singh,(Vice President), Jagdeep Kumar, (Chief Advisor), Amit Kumar,(General Secretary), Niranjan Kumar,(Joint Secretary), Iqbal Singh and Kusum Lata,(Cashier), Muhammad Saleem and Kanwaljit Kaur Brar (Stage Secretaries), Paramjit Kaur, Nitika, Geeta Mishra, Sangeeta Devi were selected in the advisory committee. Sushma Sharma, Priyanka, Sheetal and Sanjay were elected as executive members. Babita Rawat assured that she will always fight honestly for the rights of the employees.
