Rajasthani community members were seen dancing to the beats of drums and Garba.
Panchkula 26 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Sharadiya Navratri isn't just a festival of fasting and worship, it's also a celebration of colorful costumes, music, and dance. Temples and pandals across the country are illuminated during these nine days, but the most special is the magic of Garba and Dandiya nights. People dancing to the beats of drums and the rhythm of Garba make this festival even more special. On Friday, in Panchkula, the traditional atmosphere, the Rajasthani-Gujarati atmosphere, the hymns of Mother Goddess playing on the DJ, and the group of young people dancing dandiya to it, doubled the joy of Navratri. They also conveyed the message of patriotism while cherishing Sanatan culture. As the DJ played "Kesariya Rang Tane Lagyo Na Garba" and "Pankhida Re Udne Jaje Pavagadh Re," the atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy. This entire scene unfolded during the Dandiya Nights event organized by the Rajasthan Parishad Yuva Manch in Oruba, Panchkula. Rajasthan Parishad President Raj Kishore Ji stated that this program is being organized by the Rajasthan Parishad Youth Forum. Members of the Rajasthan Parishad, their families, and their family friends are participating. He explained that the purpose of this program is to connect Indian youth with Sanatan culture, so that we remember how the Mother Goddess is worshipped for nine days. The Rajasthan Parishad Youth Forum is led by a team of Neetu Vinod Sethia, Dimple Kishanlal Bothra, and Rajni Girish Khecha (2025-26). Neetu Sethia explained that Navratri is a festival that connects everyone with our culture and devotion to Goddess Durga. The beginning of Navratri marks the start of the winter festivals of our Hindu culture. During Garba and Dandiya, Dandiya Raas was performed on a Gujarati theme. Members of the community also danced to Rajasthani folk songs. The costumes showcased Gujarati and Rajasthani art and culture on the same stage. Council family members continued to dance to the tunes of Mata Rani songs. In Dandiya Nights, everyone enjoyed Garba to the tune of traditional songs. First of all, the first Aarti of Mataji was performed. Hundreds of devotees participated in it. After this, the sound of Dandiya and Garba songs started and forced the devotees to dance. After this, women, men and children performed Garba on the devotional songs of Mother. During this, various competitions were also organized. In which the winners were honored by giving them prizes. At the end of the function, everyone enjoyed delicious traditional Rajasthani dishes.
