Teacher Rashi Srivastava Honored with ‘State Teachers Award 2025’
Transformed Kindergarten Education with Creativity and Dedication
Chandigarh 8 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Talented educator Rashi Srivastava from Chandigarh has been honored with the ‘State Teachers Award 2025’. She received this prestigious honor from the Governor of Punjab & UT Administrator, Gulab Chand Katariya, during a ceremony organised by the Education Department on the occasion of Teacher’s Day at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh. Serving as a teacher at St. Joseph Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, Rashi Srivastava is known for her creativity, innovation, and inclusive practices. She has been appointed as the ‘Innovation Ambassador of the Kindergarten Block’ by the school principal. Rashi prepares teaching materials using minimal resources and teaches children through play and activity-based methods. She also writes and composes educational poems and songs.
