A candlelight march was held to demand justice for the late IPS officer SP Kumar.
Chandigarh 13 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A massive candlelight march was organized today at Sector 17 Plaza, Chandigarh, under the slogan "Give justice to Senior IPS Y.P. Kumar." People from all walks of life and age groups joined the march in unison. Their presence sent the message that when it comes to justice and honesty, society stands united. Holding candles and placards, people paid tribute to IPS Y.P. Kumar and demanded the immediate arrest of the Haryana DGP and the immediate dismissal of the Rohtak SP. The marchers shouted, "This movement is not against any one individual, but against the system that is trying to suppress the truth. This flame will not be extinguished until justice is served to IPS Y.P. Kumar." "This peaceful movement for justice proved that the entire community stands with the honest officer.
