Councillors including Senior Deputy Mayor Jasbir Singh Bunty, Deputy Mayor Taruna Mehta, AAP councillors Prem Lata, Gurpreet Singh Gabi, Yogesh Dhingra, former Mayor Kuldeep Dhalod, Yogesh Dhingra, Sachin Galav, Suman Sharma, Darshan Rani, and Dilawar Singh issued a joint statement, stating that the mayor has written a letter to the administrator complaining against four councillors. If action is taken, action should be taken on the complaint against Anil Masih, who tarnished Chandigarh's reputation globally by rigging the vote. BJP councillor and former LOP Kanwarjit Singh Rana snatched the secretary's microphone and agenda and removed the nameplate. The nominated councillors were also present in the well. The Mayor wants to get it approved as soon as possible, but the opposition councillors are unwilling to accept it. Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla has filed a complaint with Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria against the Senior Deputy Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and two councilors.
