Chandigarh 2 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The team presented a phulkari made of khadi and a traditional charkha, symbolizing Gandhiji's inspiration for self-reliance and indigenous handicrafts. A globe with a map of India, manufactured by a Chandigarh industrialist, was also presented, and is being supplied throughout the country. This reflects the important role Chandigarh's industries play in the national economy.
