Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047” (Developed India @2047), an Indian trade delegation met with Dr. Georgy L. Muradov, Advisor to the Russian President Vladimir Putin and Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimea Region, along with Rajesh Baga and Gurdeep Singh Gosha, to strengthen international relations.
Moscow/Chandigarh 16 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : As part of the Multi-Nation Contact Mission, the Indian business delegation visited Russia (Moscow) from October 10 to 14. The purpose of this visit was to deepen India’s partnerships with Central Asia, Uzbekistan, and Russia. The trip concluded with a joint meeting in Moscow involving diplomats, policymakers, and business groups, where discussions focused on new avenues of trade, innovation, and collaboration — all aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s “Developed India @2047” vision. During the visit, BJP Vice President Rajesh Baga and panelist Gurdeep Singh Gosha held special meetings with senior Russian officials, including Mr. Manuilov, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations, and Daria Pustovalova, along with leaders of business councils. The discussions centered around expanding India’s “Vocal for Local” initiative towards a “Local for Global” approach. Under this initiative, plans are being made to hold future global trade exchange programs involving business representatives from Punjab and other Indian states to promote their production capabilities internationally — in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047.” The Swadeshi Jagran Manch is providing a strong platform for this mission, aiming to enhance the export potential of India’s farmers, traders, artisans, food industries, and other industrial sectors in global markets. The delegation included representatives from various industries across India: Avtar Singh Saggu – Prominent industrialist from Moga, Punjab, Hamreet Singh – Pharmaceutical sector, Dhurmil Mehta – Renewable energy entrepreneur from Gujarat, Nikhil Methia – Drone technology innovator from Gujarat, Dr. Dhruv Sehgal – Media entrepreneur and founder of Oasis Films & New Media, New Delhi, Laksh Pal – Businessman from Himachal Pradesh (hotel and retail sector), Harshit Gupta – Shoe manufacturer from Delhi, Pinky Maheshwari – Environmental innovator and handmade seed paper manufacturer from Rajasthan, Malkit Janagal – Knitted garments manufacturer from Punjab, Romil Kapoor – Auto parts manufacturer from Punjab, Ankur Kallan – Railway and medical components manufacturer from Kapurthala, Punjab, Meghna Tiwari – Youth activist from Bihar, associated with the office of Dr. Hemang Joshi, MP from Vadodara
