Star cast runs awareness campaign at 16–17 Underpass

Based on the unique bond between a grandfather and his grandson, the film highlights the importance of family values, mutual understanding and emotional connection. The team believes that Re-Birth will serve as a milestone in strengthening families in today’s fast-paced world. On Saturday, the film’s star cast—Gurchet Chitarkar, Zoravar Singh, writer–director Malkit Malanga, producers Manpreet Singh and Alka Thakur—visited the Sector 16–17 underpass. Interacting directly with commuters, the team spoke about the significance of nurturing family relationships. The artists reminded people that the grandfather–grandson bond is not merely defined by age, but is an inheritance of wisdom, values and unconditional love. Commuters passing through the underpass appreciated this unique awareness drive. Several youngsters observed that cinema has a deep influence on society, and when films convey messages that bring families closer, it can definitely inspire positive change. Writer–director Malkit Malanga and Gurchet Chitarkar said that Re-Birth is not just a film but a thought—a sincere attempt to bridge the communication gap between generations and weave families back together. Producers Manpreet Singh and Alka Thakur added that the film blends entertainment with powerful emotional layers. The team urged people to support the film and incorporate family values into daily life, emphasising that family is our greatest wealth and strong relationships form the foundation of a strong society. Today’s awareness campaign also witnessed the presence of bhangra promoter Narottam Singh, director Bobby Bajwa, singer Sarbans Prateek Singh, producer Jaggi Bhangu, Kuldeep Bhatti, Rohit Chauhan, Maninder, Kajal and others. The initiative at the 16–17 underpass not only introduced the film’s message to the public but also cast fresh light on the importance of nurturing family bonds.
