Mesmerizing Kathak dance presentations marked parampara series of Pracheen Kala Kendra
Chandigharh 21 November ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A special evening of Kathak dance was organized by Pracheen Kala Kendra in the series Parampara by the students of Kendra at ML Koser auditorium of the Kendra at 4;30 pm onwards. Various presentations of Kathak dance were presented by the disciples of Guru Brij Mohan Gangani About 25 children participated in this program who are learning kathak dance at Kendra under the direction of Guru Brij Mohan Gangani. Parampara series started by Pracheen Kala Kendra to boost the multilateral personality development of the children and to showcase their talent. In today’s program artists presented beautiful performances and received applause from the audience. Today's program started with Guru Vandana in which small children . presented this performance through Kathak dance. After this pure Kathak dance consisting of aamad paran, gat , tode etc were presented . Then young students presented Dhamar taal followed by panchami sawari. All presentations were applauded by the audience. The programe was concluded with another kathak presentation by the talented students of the Kendra. This effort of the Kendra by organizing such programs , the students are not only presenting their art with confidence by performing on stage, but also Kendra is playing an important role in enriching and passing the ancient cultural heritage of India to our upcoming generations.
