Shimla-Chandigarh Diocese Marks the Jubilee Year 2025 on the Solemnity of Christ the King
Chandigarh 23 November ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Shimla-Chandigarh Diocese joyfully celebrated the Christ the King Cathedral Feast on 23rd November 2025 at Christ the King Cathedral, Sector 19, Chandigarh. The celebration drew parishioners from different places, religious, and clergy from various communities, united in honoring Christ the King and renewing their spiritual commitment. The day began with Adoration at Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, where the faithful gathered in quiet prayer. A devotional procession then moved from the school to the Cathedral, with hymns and prayers expressing deep faith and unity.
At the Cathedral, the community joined in the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by Rev. Bishop Sahaya Thatheus Thomas.
