Solan/Chandigarh 20 November ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Shoolini University has strengthened its leadership position in Himachal Pradesh and the Chandigarh region by achieving remarkable progress in the QS Sustainability Rankings 2026. The University is now ranked 522nd globally, an improvement of 44 positions from last year, 126th in Asia, and 13th in India—making it the highest-ranked university in the region in sustainability. In the Environmental Impact category, Shoolini achieved an impressive 377th global rank, maintaining a consistent position among the top 500 globally for the past three years. This performance reflects the University’s long-term commitment to sustainable development, research excellence, and eco-friendly campus initiatives. QS Sustainability Rankings 2026 evaluated 2,001 universities globally, including 815 in Asia and 101 in India, highlighting Shoolini University’s strong sustainability focus and its standout position in the northern region of India. Prof. P.K. Khosla, Chancellor of Shoolini University, said, "This achievement is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our faculty, students, and staff.
