Ghanaur 8 December ( PDL ) : In Halka Ghanaur, under the leadership of Election Incharge Jasmer Singh Lachhru and Halka Incharge Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer, the Shiromani Akali Dal launched its election campaign in Block Samiti zones Chhappar, Lachhru Kalan, Rudki and Zila Parishad zones Harpalapur and Lohsimbli, keeping the upcoming Block Samiti and Zila Parishad elections in mind. Villagers participated in large numbers in the meetings held across different villages.
Addressing the gatherings, Halka Ghanaur Incharge Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer and Jathedar Jasmer Singh Lachhru said that the overwhelming support from the villagers clearly shows that the people of the constituency now prefer development, concrete work, and clean politics — the identity of the Shiromani Akali Dal. On this occasion, Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer also mentioned Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, stating that he is giving special attention to strengthening the party organisation and understanding the genuine needs of different regions. Jhinjer said that the Akali Dal has always been the voice of farmers, labourers, traders, and common people. Discussions were also held regarding local issues, development plans, and future requirements of the constituency. 
He assured the people that every vote cast in favour of the party would be respected, and that full dedication, honesty, and courage would be applied towards the constituency’s development and public welfare. The enthusiastic participation of villagers throughout the campaign reaffirms their trust in the strong grassroots leadership of the Akali Dal. In conclusion, Jhinjer appealed to the people of the constituency to elect the Shiromani Akali Dal candidates with a strong mandate so that the path of development in Halka Ghanaur can be further strengthened.
