Chandigarh 4 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Annual Cultural Programme of the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit), Punjab, Chandigarh was successfully organized on 4th December 2025 at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, marking a grand celebration of art and culture. On this occasion, Hon’ble Ashim Kumar Ghosh, Governor of Haryana, and the First Lady Mitra Ghosh graced the event as the Chief Guests. Senior officers from various departments of the State, Union Territory of Chandigarh, and the Central Government were also present. The programme commenced with a warm welcome extended by the Principal Accountant General Nazli J. Shayin, IA&AS, to the Hon’ble Chief Guests and other distinguished attendees. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guests, formally inaugurating the event. In his address, the Hon’ble Governor appreciated the department’s efforts in promoting cultural harmony and employee engagement and encouraged all participants.The stage then came alive with a series of vibrant performances, beginning with Saraswati Vandana, followed by Rabindra Sangeet, Bhangra, energetic Haryanvi folk dance, and other captivating presentations that enthralled the audience. This much-awaited event was a celebration of creativity, diversity, and togetherness, bringing employees and their families under one roof to share in the joy of cultural expression. More than just an evening of entertainment, the programme served as a platform to showcase talent, foster team spirit, and strengthen bonds beyond professional roles. The significance of this event got reflected in its ability to promote cultural heritage through music, dance, drama, and art, reflecting the vibrant traditions of our country and the values, IA&AD uphold as an organization.
