Chandigarh 11 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the occasion of the 72nd birth anniversary of Neera Loomba, the Neera Loomba Foundation carried out a heartfelt food donation drive at Chandi Kusth Ashram in Chandigarh — a home to over 160 individuals and families affected by leprosy. As part of this initiative, the Foundation provided essential supplies of rice and sugar — enough to support the residents for the next couple of weeks. More than the donation itself, the drive focused on human connection: Foundation volunteers spent quality time engaging with the residents, listening to their stories, and creating a space of warmth and dignity. “The real impact begins when we stop looking away,” said Dr. Aditi Loomba, Founder of the Neera Loomba Foundation. “We want to ensure these food drives become more regular, reaching people who are often forgotten.
