S.A.S.Nagar 22 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Chairman of Punjab Mandi Board Harchand Singh Bursat today took an important decision and fulfilled the demands of Punjab Market Committees Employees Union, for which the Employees Union has thanked the Chairman of Punjab Mandi Board. Representatives of Punjab Market Committees Employees Union met Chairman Punjab Mandi Board Harchand Singh Bursat today at the main office of the Mandi Board. On this occasion, the demands of the employees were discussed in detail. The union apprised the Chairman of Punjab Mandi Board about the demands of the employees, which were settled on the spot by the Chairman. Meanwhile, Harchand Singh Barsat said that the concerns and demands of the employees have been taken seriously and this decision is another step towards improving the functioning of the board. He said that he has always stood in support of the rights of the employees. Barsat said that while the Punjab Government led by the Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann is striving for the welfare of every section, it is also committed to the welfare of the employees. He said that he always gives priority to the interests of the employees and in future also the employees will not be allowed to face any kind of problems and he will continue to work for the welfare of the employees. The union members thanked the Chairman of Punjab Mandi Board and said that these decisions will boost the morale of the employees. Market committees are directly related to the farmers, commission agents and labourers, hence the union representatives assured that they will not let the farmers, commission agents and labourers face any kind of problem in the markets. The union representatives said that whenever they seek time to meet the Chairman of Punjab Mandi Board, he immediately gives them time and the demands are considered in detail. Under the guidance of Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat, Punjab Mandi Board is doing good work for the convenience of the people.
