Chandigarh 5 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : No doubt, the heavy rains in the recent past may have changed the mood of the weather. But what hasn't changed is people's craze to see the acrobatics of the mermaids. Even during the rains, people kept coming to see the Mermaid Carnival. Now, when holidays have been declared in the schools till 7th September due to heavy rains, a large number of children are reaching there to see the acrobatics of the mermaids. Now, only the last two days, Saturday and Sunday, are left for the Mermaid Carnival in the city. Due to clear weather, people are reaching the carnival with their families.
Apex International's director Alankeshwar Bhaskar and Sunil Kumar Goyal alias Billa said that the Jalpari Carnival is ending on Sunday, September 7. Now the carnival is here for only two more days. As soon as the rain stops and the weather clears, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the people. A large number of people are arriving with their families to see the Jalpari Carnival. In the last two days of the carnival, which runs from 2 pm to 10 pm on Saturday and Sunday, people are not only delighted to see the mermaids performing stunts in the water and their various expressions, but also capture those beautiful moments in their mobile phones. People are also taking selfies with the mermaids. They also enjoy the stalls and swings set up in the carnival.
