32nd National Men and women National Championship of Circle Kabaddi from 11th-13th October
Chandigarh 9 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : 32nd National Men and women National Championship of Circle Kabaddi will be held from 11th-13th October 2025 at Panjab University, Chandigarh. The championship has been organised by Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India (Affiliated with World Kabaddi Federation & Asian Circle Kabaddi Federation). Davesh Moudgil, Ex-Mayor Chandigarh and President Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India and J P Sharma, Founder General Secretary since 1978, while addressing a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club here said, “The 32nd senior national circle kabaddi championships of men and women would be held at Punjab University football ground Chandigarh. The matches will be played on a knockout basis.” They informed that the Federation will provide them free boarding, lodging and handsome prizes to the winners and runner's up men and women teams along with the officials. However, participation certificates will be given to all the players. First time cash prizes for both men and women teams will be given. Men first prize winners Rs 61000, runners up Rs 31000, Women first prize winners Rs 41000 and runners up Rs 31000. The states which have confirmed the participation include Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Behar. Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, J&K and Assam. A selection of both men and women teams may be conducted for the international matches in near future. Technical official's clink may be conducted. Davesh Moudgil and JP Sharma, said, “The Amateur Circle Kabaddi Federation of India (ACKFI) is a premier body dedicated to promoting and developing the indigenous sport of Circle Kabaddi across the nation. Affiliated with the World Kabaddi Federation and the Asian Circle Kabaddi Federation, ACKFI has been instrumental in nurturing grassroots talent, organising championships, and representing India in international kabaddi arenas.” “Our mission is to channelize the energy of youth and connect it to the national mainstream through sports, creating opportunities for personal growth, discipline, and pride in our traditional game.
