400 Children Participate in Drawing and Painting Competition
Chandigarh 4 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Sant Nirankari Mission organized a Drawing and Painting Competition at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30, Chandigarh. Around 400 children from all local branches of Chandigarh took part in the event. The participants were between the ages of 5 and 16. The competition began with prayers led by O.P. Nirankari, Zonal Incharge of the Chandigarh Zone. He was joined on this occasion by Chandigarh Sanyojak Navneet Pathak and all area Mukhi. While blessing the children, O.P. Nirankari said, “You are all very fortunate to participate in this competition with such enthusiasm. Along with school and college activities, you are also actively contributing to the activities of the Nirankari Mission. May Satguru Mata Sudiksha Maharaj bless you with a long, healthy life and success in your studies.” Chandigarh Sanyojak Navneet Pathak explained that the competition was organized not only to encourage creativity but also to instill spiritual values, patriotism, and service to humanity in the children’s lives. The main topics for the competition included: Dussehra, My School, My Favorite Cartoon, Picnic Scene, Self-Reflection, History of the Sant Nirankari Mission, Good Eating Habits, Bal Sangat Scene, and Annual Samagam Scene.
