Techcadd CEO demonstrates ‘Chi Chi Robot’ at CU Punjab, showcasing the power of intelligent automation and innovation
Bathinda 10 October ( PDL ) : The Department of Computer Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of the Central University of Punjab, organized an Expert Talk on “Artificial Intelligence: The Future of Technology” at the Seminar Hall, Aryabhata Academic Block. The event was held under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor, and was coordinated by Dr. Parvinder Singh (Coordinator) and Dr. Surinder Singh Khurana (Co-Coordinator), under Prof. Amandeep Kaur, Head, Dept. of CST.
The session began with the University Anthem, followed by a plant watering and floral welcome ceremony, symbolizing growth, innovation, and sustainability. Dr. Satwinder Singh, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, delivered the welcome address and introduced the theme of the programme. The keynote address was delivered by Gourav Kumar Gupta, Founder & CEO of Techcadd, who shared insightful perspectives on the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in reshaping industries and enhancing modern living. He highlighted the revolutionary impact of AI technologies in sectors such as healthcare, logistics, education, and communication.
A major highlight of the session was a live demonstration of the ‘Chi Chi Robot’, which captivated the audience by showcasing advanced AI capabilities including multi-modal sensing, real-time decision-making, and natural human-robot interaction. In the concluding remarks, the coordinators expressed gratitude to the resource person and participants for making the session enriching and interactive. On this occasion Prof. Amandeep Kaur and faculty members of Dept. of CST were present. The event provided valuable insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of AI, inspiring students and faculty to explore its vast potential in driving future technological advancements.
