Party President Giani Harpreet Singh forms seven-member committee for Tarn Taran by-election
Committee to submit report within five days after consulting party workers
Sri Amritsar Sahib 3 October ( PDL ) : Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar-Surjit) President Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, after detailed discussions with the senior party leadership, has formed a seven-member election committee with regard to the Tarn Taran by-election. This committee will contact the local leaders, party workers, and state delegates and submit its review report to the party president within five days. Based on this report, the party will finalise its strategy for the Tarn Taran by-election.
