Sanatani Hindus and Sikhs Are One and Will Always Remain United: Shrimant Swami Gyan Dev Singh Maharaj
Chandigarh 11 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Nirmal Sect, founded by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, has been consistently working towards strengthening the unity between Sanatani Hindus and Sikhs. Shrimant Swami Gyan Dev Singh Maharaj stated that the Nirmal Sampradaya will continue to spread the message of Hindu–Sikh unity across the world. Baba Harjeet Singh Rasulpur asserted that radical Khalistani elements in Punjab will not be allowed to disrupt the harmony and unity between Hindus and Sikhs. National spokesperson of Shri Hindu Takht, Ashok Tiwari, announced that a grand Hindu–Sikh Unity Yatra will be launched from Chandigarh and culminate in Amritsar, involving 500 Nirmal Akharas across the country. Separatist Elements Trying to Weaken Nirmal Akhada : According to reports, some separatist individuals — including Kashmira Singh Bhuriwala, Resham Singh, and Hakim Singh, who claim to be associated with the Nirmal Akhada — have been attempting to weaken and capture the Nirmal Akhada since 2017. They first captured the Nirmal Akhada premises in Haridwar, and later tried to take control of the main Akhada as well. However, with the help of administrative authorities, the Nirmal Akhada successfully regained possession. These elements have now allegedly attempted to capture Akhadas in Patiala, Samana, and other parts of Punjab. Recently, around 100 people linked to these groups reportedly took over the Nirmal Dera in Tarn Taran district, belonging to Sant Darshan Singh Shastri — a respected scholar of Sanatani scriptures. Valuable religious texts and items were allegedly looted during the incident, but no action has yet been taken by the administration. Foreign Funding Suspected Behind Attempts to Divide Hindus and Sikhs : Religious leaders have claimed that these repeated attempts to seize Nirmal institutions are part of a larger conspiracy to divide Hindus and Sikhs. They allege that foreign extremist groups are involved and that the activities are being funded from abroad.
