Chandigarh 9 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjeet) President Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has further strengthened the party’s organizational structure by releasing the second list of office-bearers. The list focuses on promoting emerging leadership while maintaining balance with experienced figures, reflecting the unity and spirit of party workers. In the newly released list, four Sarparasts (Patrons) have been appointed. Jathedar Gurpratap Singh Wadala has been designated as Secretary General, while former Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa has been appointed as Treasurer. To strengthen the Trade Wing, Babu Prakash Chand Garg has been appointed as President and Kapoor Chand Bansal as Secretary. Eight leaders have been appointed as Senior Vice Presidents, and seven as Vice Presidents. Eight individuals will serve as General Secretaries, while six have been appointed as Organizational Secretaries. Respected personalities Baba Sarbjot Singh Ji Bedi, Baba Seva Singh Rampur Khera, former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Prof. Manjit Singh Ji, and Ravi Inder Singh have been appointed as the Sarparasts (Patrons) of the party.
