Indo Swiss Training Centre Launches Two-Day Series of Alumni Events

Chandigarh 19 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Indo Swiss Training Centre Old Students Association (ISTCOSA) has launched a two-day series of events aimed at bringing together alumni, promoting mutual collaboration, and strengthening social bonding among former students. As part of this initiative, the Connect and Collaborate Conclave was organised on Friday at the ISTC Auditorium, Sector 30C, Chandigarh. The conclave emerged as an effective professional networking and knowledge-sharing platform for alumni, where former students working in diverse fields shared their experiences and insights. Detailed discussions were held on career growth, entrepreneurship, emerging industry trends, and new avenues for professional collaboration. Participants described the initiative as highly beneficial for the alumni community and emphasized the need for more such platforms in the future.

Director, CSIO, Dr Shantanu Bhattacharya attended the event as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he said, “Alumni are the greatest strength of any institution. Such platforms not only foster professional collaboration but also serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation. This initiative by ISTCOSA is truly commendable as it brings together knowledge, experience and networks under one roof.”

The presence of noted industrialists Sanjiv Sethi and Kapil Gupta further added to the stature of the programme. Interacting with the alumni, they shared their perspectives on industry–academia collaboration and highlighted emerging opportunities in entrepreneurship and innovation. Providing details of the upcoming events, ISTCOSA President Neeraj Sahni informed that ‘Yaari Cup 2025’ will be organised on December 20, 2025, from 8:00 am at the ISTC Grounds, CSIO, Sector 30C, Chandigarh. The friendly cricket match will be played between the Batch of 2000 and other OSA teams, celebrating camaraderie, sportsmanship and the ISTC spirit.

Later the same evening, the Annual Get Together (AGT) 2025 will be held from 7:00 pm onwards at Hotel Radisson RED, Sector 66A, Mohali. The event will be a grand celebration of nostalgia, fellowship, entertainment and the enduring pride of ISTC.

Through these initiatives, ISTCOSA aims to further strengthen alumni bonds while infusing fresh professional and social energy into the alumni community.
