Navdeep Kaur makes history at Mrs. Supranational 2025, becomes India's first runner-up
Chandigarh 6 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Navdeep Kaur, who recently made history by winning the first runner-up title for India at the Mrs. Supranational 2025 competition held at the Taj Vivanta in Goa, says that if you have the passion to achieve something big, you will surely reach your goal. Speaking to reporters, she said that despite facing numerous challenges in life, she never let her passion diminish. Navdeep Kaur was born into a military family, which gave her the opportunity to live in various parts of India. Later, she moved to Punjab and worked as a Drug Control Officer.
She said that since childhood, she has received national-level awards in art, painting, and academic competitions. She has also been honored with the Bala Chitra Ratna Award by the Government of India. She also performed exceptionally well in national Olympiads and UNESCO examinations. During her school years, she was the captain of the Scouts and Guides and won the first prize at the Northeast India level. She was associated with the world of dance from the age of six and later became the youngest RJ at All India Radio. During college, she came to Punjab from Gujarat for the first time to learn about Punjabi culture, which gave a new direction to her life. Along with her job, she never let go of her passion for dance and fashion. She also worked on TV channels like Colors and Sony. In addition, she has been honored four times by the Punjab government.
Navdeep Kaur said that despite ups and downs in her personal life, separation from her husband, and the responsibility of a young child, she never gave up. During this time, she had to remain bedridden for a long period due to a spinal injury, but her spirit never weakened. It was this determination that led her to win the Mrs. Supranational 2025 title. She has been associated with several social organizations, including Niranjana Foundation and Sapta Sindhu, working for disabled children and widowed women. Recently, in an international competition, she presented herself wearing a special Indian outfit featuring a lotus flower, for which she not only secured the first runner-up position but also received the National Costume Award and the title of Mrs. Global Ambassador. According to her, she is the first Indian woman to achieve this distinction.
