CM Mann should apologize for the false statements made regarding the holy place of Shri Nabh Kanwal Raja Sahib : Dr. Subhash Sharma

BJP leaders paid their respects at the Gurudwara and also met with committee officials.

Chandigarh 19 January ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : BJP Vice President Dr. Subhash Sharma and a team of leaders from Nawanshahr district paid their respects today at the holy shrine of Shri Nabh Kanwal Raja Sahib in Banga. BJP leaders also met with the management committee on this occasion and assured them of the party's full support. Speaking to reporters about this, Punjab BJP vice-president Dr. Subhash Sharma said that this place is a great center of faith. In Punjab, millions of people have faith in Shri Nabh Kanwal Raja Sahib, and devotees sitting in India and abroad are also connected to this holy place. Dr. Subhash Sharma said that we are deeply saddened that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann made baseless allegations at this venue during the Aam Aadmi Party's rally at the Maghi Mela, which is being widely condemned. The BJP strongly condemns CM Mann's statement and the action being taken by the SIT against the management committee.

He said that the committee officials stated that they had shown all the facts to the special investigation team, with which the SIT officers were also satisfied. He also stated that complete decorum is maintained here. Continuous recitations of the Shri Akhand Path are held, large groups of Ragi Jathe come here to perform kirtan and bless the congregation, therefore, the government's statements regarding such a place are highly reprehensible. 

Dr. Subhash Sharma said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should apologize for his statement and that if any FIR has been registered, it should be withdrawn immediately. He criticized the Mann government, saying that the government has failed to fulfill the promises made to the people of Punjab, and therefore Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making such baseless statements to divert people's attention. On this occasion, Nawanshahr BJP District President Rajwinder Lucky, former MLA from Banga Mohan Lal, and several other senior leaders were present.
