Chandigarh 2 January ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Dr. Ramnik Singh Bedi, a nominated councillor of the Chandigarh, has once again been appointed as the Returning Officer for the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Mayor elections, reaffirming the confidence placed in him due to his unblemished reputation, respected public standing, and long-standing association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
This marks the second consecutive year that Dr Bedi has been entrusted with this crucial responsibility. His appointment is being viewed as a deliberate move to ensure fairness, transparency, and credibility in the mayoral election process, given its sensitivity and public importance.
