Himachali Ekta Manch organizes blood donation camp, 32 people donate blood
S.A.S.Nagar 25 January ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Himachali Ekta Manch organized its fourth blood donation camp in front of Hotel Shanti Sagar TDI. Vishvas Foundation Panchkula, Indian Red Cross Society District Branch Mohali, and Blood Centre Panchkula Welfare Trust participated in the event. People participated enthusiastically in the camp, and 32 people donated blood. On this occasion, the President of Himachali Ekta Manch, Sanjeev Mehta, and Chairman Vikas Mahajan expressed their gratitude to all the blood donors and said that blood donation is the greatest donation. Sanjeev Mehta and Vikas Mahajan said that we should donate blood regularly so that no needy person faces a shortage of blood. On this occasion, they also encouraged people to donate organs.
Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, President of Vishvas Foundation, said that there is a misconception among people that blood donation causes weakness in the body. Blood donation does not cause any weakness; in fact, everyone should donate blood at least once every 90 days. This helps the needy and also keeps the body healthy. Blood donation is considered the greatest service. Blood is the only substance that cannot be manufactured in any factory. Blood donation is a great act of charity. A person's life can be saved by giving blood to a needy person. People generally believe that blood donation causes weakness in the body. This is misleading information. Blood donation does not cause any weakness, and the donated blood is replenished within a week, and new blood circulates in the body. She appealed to the youth to take a pledge to donate blood and to donate blood at least once in their lives.
On this occasion, Director Sachin Verma and Sunil Chauhan from Holy Basil Hospital also participated and said that there is no harm in donating blood, and everyone should donate blood regularly. They said that Holy Basil Hospital is always at the forefront of providing healthcare services to people and appreciates such camps. Health check-up camps are also organized by the hospital from time to time.
Ramesh Suman from Vishvas Foundation expressed his gratitude to all the donors who participated in the blood donation camp and said that Vishvas Foundation is always at the forefront of social work and consistently contributes to blood donation camps everywhere. He said that by donating blood, we save the lives of those in need, and therefore, every healthy person should donate blood every three months. Anirudh Pathania, Pawan Kumar, and others from Vishvas Foundation were present. All the blood donors at this blood donation camp were encouraged with certificates of appreciation and gifts. Shiva Kapoor, Jaswinder Singh, Nomita Punia, Geeta (Staff Nurse), Rohit Joshi, and Ajay Kumar from Blood Center Panchkula Welfare Trust collected the blood.
Sunny Rajput and Pooja Rajput, Chairman of Manavta Foundation, also participated and honored the donors.
15 employees of Hotel Shanti Sagar donated blood, including Ayush, who donated blood for the first time. He was encouraged for this noble act of donation. On this occasion, members of Himachali Ekta Manch, including Anil Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Vaishali Verma, Sanam Rana, Vijay (owner of Shivay Builders), Sachin, Ranbir Thakur, and others were present.
