Panchkula 19 January ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : With the aim of raising public awareness about the crucial role of time in saving lives and the importance of emergency medical services, Paras Health Panchkula organized the "Ambulance Rally 2026" across the city. The initiative aimed to honor the tireless contribution of ambulance staff, emergency responders, and frontline healthcare professionals who are always ready to serve patients. The rally started from the Paras Health Panchkula campus, went to Bella Vita Restaurant, and returned via the same route. The rally, which took place across the city, symbolized that in any medical emergency, prompt and appropriate care before reaching the hospital plays a crucial role in saving a patient's life.

The rally, organized under the theme "Heroes of Healthcare – Always on Call, Always on Wheels," aimed to convey to the public that better coordination between ambulance teams and hospitals can significantly improve emergency outcomes. The event also raised awareness about the importance of giving way to ambulances in traffic during emergencies.

Former Mayor of Panchkula, Seema Chaudhary, was the chief guest at the event. In her address, she emphasized that organized emergency response, prompt pre-hospital care, and effective traffic management play a crucial role in saving the lives of critical patients.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Facility Director, Paras Health Panchkula, said, "Pre-hospital care is crucial for patient recovery after a medical emergency. Ambulance teams ensure initial assessment, stabilization, and timely, safe transportation to the hospital. This rally highlights the importance of a robust pre-hospital emergency system."
