Tri-City malls to witness special Republic Day celebrations

Chandigarh 23 January ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : After major festivals like Diwali, Christmas, New Year, and Lohri, malls across the Tricity are now gearing up for special celebrations on Republic Day. Prominent malls, including HLP Galleria, have begun extensive preparations for January 26. Through a range of events planned across the city, malls are set to transform into hubs of patriotism and cultural celebration. On the occasion of Republic Day, malls will become vibrant centres of cultural and patriotic activities, featuring special events such as Republic Parade–themed performances. These activities aim to showcase India’s rich cultural diversity and national pride in an engaging manner.

Mall managements say that the primary objective of these celebrations is to connect youth and children with Indian culture, traditions, and the country’s glorious history. Such programmes convey the core values of the Constitution, along with messages of unity and integrity, to the younger generation. According to the management of HLP Galleria Mall, which is organising a Republic Day celebration at 9:00 am on January 26, “We want city residents to stay connected with their cultural heritage along with modern entertainment. On national festivals like Republic Day, such events allow people to experience India’s golden history and the spirit of unity.”
