Two-Day Photo Exhibition on Government of India Schemes Concludes at ITI Una

Una 17 January ( PDL ) : A two-day photo exhibition organised by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Hamirpur, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, concluded today at the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Una, Himachal Pradesh. The exhibition was organised under the Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme to create awareness about various welfare schemes of the Government of India and was conducted in collaboration with the District Administration and ITI Una.

During the concluding programme, officials from various departments provided detailed information on key government welfare schemes. From the Health Department, Shri Deepak briefed the students about the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and ABHA Card, while Shri Gopal Krishna highlighted the Janani Shishu Suraksha Yojana, Janani Suraksha Yojana and the Immunisation Programme. Representing the District Lead Bank, Shri R. Dogra (FLC) explained the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Shri Pradeep Kumar from the District Industries Centre shared information on various welfare schemes being implemented by the Government of India through his department.

In addition, departmental artists engaged the ITI students through songs and nukkad nataks to effectively communicate messages related to government schemes. The students also gained valuable information through the photo exhibition. A quiz competition based on the showcased themes was organised as part of the programme. The concluding event was attended by the Principal of ITI Una, Shri Anshul Dhiman, along with faculty members of the institute. At the conclusion of the programme, the Central Bureau of Communication, Hamirpur, administered the Swachhata Pledge to the staff and students present at the ITI campus under the Swachhata Pakhwada and also carried out a cleanliness drive (Shramdaan) in the ITI premises.
